Since the stupidity of people ceases to amaze me, I must point out there is only one thing we can be sure of in the last book, to reassure people, despite all these fakes spoilers and rumors. We all know a Horcrux is Hermione's precious virginity. And it's something that Harry and Ron will have to conquer. Together.

The end approcheses and I can't help but feel sad and happy at the same time. I'm happy cuz I really want to read the book but I'm sad cuz its the end. I remember when I first spotted the book. I Was 10 and hated reading but had 2 read a book for school so I looked around and there It was a book called harry potter and the sorcerer's stone .I had my dad buy it and when i got home I opened it and began reading and couldn't stop. Now look at me a full hearty fan who has grown up reading the harry potter book so loyaly waiting at books stores each time 4 midnight when I'd get my reserved copy of the newest harry potter book. Its been about 6 years since that day at the book store and now reality hits me there will be no more new harry potter books but I know that I like most fans will not allow harry potter 2 he will live forever in our minds and hearts and I know we'll all read the books over and over again because like a young ten year old girl told her father about 6 years ago I just can't but it down I just can't enogh of that harry potter and his magical world

I don't think it's real. It can't be. Snape is a good boy--then again, he could still be faking it--which is what happened if this is actually part of DH. The Chapter title is ridiculous. That's not JKR material! Or, I'm just in denial. I don't think I can read DH....

The first link that Lucas posted is definitely not real, the page numbers are not right. The US edition has 784 pages, the UK 608. The last page of the scan reads 759.

ohhhhh i don't know what to believe about book 7 anymore. a lot of it sounds like a load of poo on toast, and if these are indeed the first few sentences, then what a dumb beginning. there are no wonderful descriptions that jo uses to set the scene up before introducing the characters. bleh.

Everyone should take every "Spoiler" with a grain of salt. Theorizing is much much better.

If this is real it doesn't give much away, but it does make me want the book MUUUUUUUUUCH more. It would be an interesting way to begin the story as HBP and DH are supposed to be sort of 'the end part I' and 'the end part II'. I would be perfectly happy if Jo began the book this way, as long as afterwards she went back and explained what happened at the Dursley's. If it isn't real than it's a well disguised fake, at first glance it appears real but once you read it a few times there a small possible errors. Though this may simply be because it's a relatively final draft. Though I don't believe that Jo would allow anyone to get a video of an actual draft considering all of the security that has been put in place for the release. All in all I can't wait for the final book to get here 6 days to go now. If this is real, awesome, if not, oh well. I guess either way we'll find out soon enough. And could people please stop complaining about this post you have to highlight the text and they do warn you about spoilers, also stop trying to scare people out of looking at it. All it contains is the, apparent, title of chapter one, a paragraph and three words of speech. It gives away very little so don't worry about it ruining the surprise, if anything it opens more questions. Have fun.

rob15- You forgot the part about Hermione's virginity being a Horcrux. Ron and Harry must conquer it together. It's kind of obvs. And just as plausible as all these spoliers.
