That should be "whet" your appetite...LOL I think it's pretty cheap that they "need" to catalogue them before Friday night. Too many spoilers out there as it is. Hopefully these librarions are more ethical than Madame Pince.

I am OFFICIALLY jealous of librarians. I never thought I'd actually say that, lol. But looking at the picture, they shouldn't have opened the top box at all. That's against the rules! Grrr. I bet most of them have already got a preview now. I live in Argentina, and I happen to work at a book store... the thing is the we don't have the book yet, because the shifting takes a couple of days, but the book is supposed to get to my hands on the 19th, but it won't be out for sale until, of course, the 21st... I am not proud of whay I'm about to say... I know many of you will hate me, and tell me that I'm ruining all the excitement... But, in the end... Its my own excitement that I'll be ruining... YES, I'LL READ IT ON THE 19TH.... I'm sorry... I just had to say it... But, I can assure you that I'll keep my mouth shut and stay away from my computer for a few days... I WON'T POST ANY SPOILERS, ANYWHERE, I underdstand how important this is for all of you, and I'd never ruin in for you guys.... IT'S JUST THAT I CAN'T FIGHT THE TEMPATION.... 4 days to go...

you know those librarians will be reading the books and most likely someone will *gasp* SPOIL the book...

THE SPOILER SCANS THAT ARE SPREADING AROUND ARE FAKE FOR SEVERAL REASONS: 1) The Table of Contents always has 8 chapters listed on the first page and 9 on all of the others, while the alleged leaks have 9 chapters listed with 10 on the others. 2) The shadows on the book, especially those between the pages, are very fake looking. 3) There is no back cover visible where there clearly should be. Instead there are very suspicious looking dark blurs. 4) About ¾ of the way down one of the scans there is an impossible bend in the book that spans both pages. 5) Some pages in the scans are outrageously translucent, but the real Potter pages are relatively thick. 6) Towards the top of the inside flap of the jacket you can tell that it’s WAY too shiny (almost laminated). In extent, the color of the binding is not consistent from scan to scan. 7) The harlequin patterned page that normally appears after the Table of Contents is not there. 8) The epilogue is supposed to explain what happens to those who survive, so unless only 5 people survive… 9) The epilogue sounds like a 5 page Fan-Fiction. The names sound very dodgy. 10) THIS IS THE BIGGIE… THE BOOK HAS 784 PAGES, WHILE THE SCAN ENDS ON SOMETHING LIKE PAGE 759.

I'm sick and tired of the madness! And it's ony been one day! I hadn't discovered the HP internet community yet when HBP came out (i became a fan of HP in 2005, and hadnt discovered mugglenet until a bit after HBP ce out), and I'm happy I didn't! Stupid scans, can't tell if they're real or fake and a whole bunch of idiots out there want to ruin the fun for us by creating their own scans and posting what THEY want to happen as something that WILL happen. I just wish that everyone would be a good sport and wait till saturday, I don't get what they gain by making everyone go nuts when they should be getting ready for the best reading experience ever. (rant over)

DUN DUN DUN.... The release is drawing ever nearer... I'm actually a bit scared; I don't want it to be over yet! I wonder how many copies libraries get, though, because I can't imagine there being as many as bookstores (or any other building that sells things, whether it be a supermarket or a department store--I've seen Harry Potter books sold in the strangest places). Btw -- "cataloging", suuure. You know all those librarians are probably sitting in the back room, reading like mad. Man, it's times like this I wish I had gotten a degree in library science....
