Deathly Hallows already in the hands of librarians
Deathly Hallows already in the hands of librarians To whet your taste buds, check out this photo depicting a few Deathly Hallows boxes sitting in a Charleston library.

According to this article, librarians received special permission to open the boxes early for cataloging. The books are not allowed to be placed on display until July 21st.

Thanks to Jeffrey for the tip!

And let the spoilers begin!

Posted by LadyM Jul 15th 2007

*shakes head*..I can't believe you, rob15...ugh, i have to go to the supermarket, i can't hang around staring at the boxes till i get home! AHHH!

Posted by SteffieSnape Jul 15th 2007

Wow, there have been so many spoilers online it's crazy. Well, that's to be expected. Is it really true that the librarians have permission to open the boxes early? How can that be true or fair? I just can't see how that is justified in any way. I don't remember the last book being opened up early to be put on the shelves of libraries the next day, or maybe I'm just dumb and don't remember? Who knows. Being as curious as I am, I have looked at the links to livejournal and such supposedly posting the chapter titles and summaries of each chapter, the artwork, and that retched epilogue. I read on one spolier thing the people who supossedly die. I just can't believe that any of it is legit because I like to think that only 4 people in the whole world have read the book and no box is to be opened until 12:01 saturday morning! If I'm being really naive then so be it... but I'm hoping when I open my book after midnight that none of this rubbish we've seen will be in there. I pray anyways :)

Posted by Someoneold Jul 15th 2007

I'm in Charleston,SC - so close - yet so far!!!!

Posted by thats_nifty Jul 15th 2007

If any of that spoiler crap I've been seeing is actually in the book, I *will* devise a plan to take out JKR. And I don't mean to dinner. That fake epilogue is so fake it's not even funny....

Posted by hallowsaint Jul 15th 2007

Rob15....hhmm...curious, very curious......i wonder......yep your absolutely right i have thought about it and this is exactly what has to have happened......thanks Rob15 you have made me happy cause Dumbledore lives and so what if Snape is an evil guy that gets cheesecake shoved down his throat and he gets wacked by a cat....Dumbledore lives and that's all i need.......oh and i might need some cheesecake

Posted by bookbug1012 Jul 15th 2007

i dont think ive ever wanted to be a librarian more

Posted by britishwannabe Jul 15th 2007

darn no!!!!! Are people stupid or something? Do they not know that spoilers will emerge everywhere in like 2 hours or so? I hate when people get the books ahead of everyone else and then go running to the news to publisize themselves. This is retarded, can't SCHOLASTIC stop them?

Posted by rob15 Jul 15th 2007

*hands hallowsaint a mound of cheesecake then slaps him/her/heshe/it/werewolf and steals it back then gives him/her/heshe/it/werewolf a poncho

Posted by SteffieSnape Jul 15th 2007

rob15: You're awesome. I think your theories or summeries of the new book are better than the spoilers we've seen, haha. And what's this thing about cheescake and bean poles? I like cheescake. I loooooove cheescake. Maybe some of us should get together and have a party over Voldy dying by being tied to a bean pole and licked to death by Fang, and eat cheescake? Sounds like fun to me! Anything to get away from all these crazy so called spoilers :) I just want saturday to get here!

Posted by hallowsaint Jul 15th 2007

ah everybody keep your skirts on and get back to your knitting.......it's all going to be good in five days. just five days and we'll all know....so let's all chill out and have some cheesecake.

Posted by Bizelburp123 Jul 15th 2007

I volunteer at a library and we're getting our boxes sometime this week! I can't steal a copy though...and I wouldn't if I got the chance. It would ruin the fun. And if I was given the job to guard those boxes, I would guard them with my life! It would *&^# if somebody put out a real spoiler over the Internet.

Posted by rob15 Jul 15th 2007

i don't wear skirts

Posted by hallowsaint Jul 15th 2007

okay get your knockers out of a wad or whatever you wear......anyway FIVE DAYS AND WE CAN ALL HAVE A MIDNIGHT PARTY CELEBRATING VOLDY'S DEATH OVER SOME CHEESE CAKE!!!!!!!

Posted by BetZZZlovesHarry Jul 15th 2007

hmm i was just wondering...why is the box on the top OPEN!! wow this is really exciting though...somewhere in libraries exists the 7th harry potter book...simply amazing

Posted by morbius2k3 Jul 15th 2007

This Is BULL**** so much for that magtic midnight moment that Jk had planned on. Question though if the libray can get them a week early, why not just release the book early? I thought that 7-21-07 was the date because that would give them just enough time for editing and all that like JK said on her web site. Obviously Warner Bros. had something their say due to the movie release date then what was already said this is not right the spoilers will be all over the place by monday night..... Thanks alot bloomsbury, Scholastic, and everyone else who just ruined it. Cause if you honestly think that those people who work in the libary's are not going to read it and post it then you are fools!!!!

Posted by SteffieSnape Jul 15th 2007

Wow, I'm so tired it's not even funny (I haven't slept in 24 hours). Well, it is kinda funny. I totally missed an "e" in cheesecake from a previous post. Ha ha, whoops! If it's true that some librarians get to open the boxes early then I bet they're all proud of themselves sneaking peaks at the book. I hope their fingers dry up and fall off for reading the book early! If they have that is, and if not then they may keep their fingers, or any other limbs :)

Posted by rob15 Jul 15th 2007

BETZZZLOVESHARRY: the box is a portal to the cheeesecake underworld where you will find dead cheesecake my young apprentice

Posted by hallowsaint Jul 15th 2007

very good very good.SteffieSnape...use your anger and don't rely on the books to dry up their fingers do it yourself and just burn their fingers in front of their eyes........let your anger guide you to the darkside where there's plenty of cheesecake and beanpoles to go around.

Posted by Bizelburp123 Jul 15th 2007

Did you know that librarys and other sources can get up to a $200,000 fine (american money)? That is 145,264.381 Euros! Now that is a LOT of money. Nobody would risk that amount over a book!

Posted by hallowsaint Jul 15th 2007

well i personally would rather them having their hands chopped off and eyes gouged out if they did read it....cause that's a lot bigger fine than $200,000

Posted by SteffieSnape Jul 15th 2007

Ah, yes.... you are right, so very right hallowsaint. I shall use my anger on these librarians and reveal myself a gaurdian of the cheesecake underworld. Muahahaha... beware all you who have "supposedly" read the book. Those who have layed unappreciative eyes among the most sacred of books shall be forever punished in the land of evil beapoles and cheesecake. And those who have "supposedly" posted spoliers of said book shall give their souls to me for all cheesecake eternity! Muahahaha!! (wow... I made absolutely no sense ^_^)

Posted by She_Who_Must_Not_Be_Named1 Jul 15th 2007

Time just seems to slow down during the count down for a new Harry Potter book and this time drag is even WORSE. "I should of gotten that job at the libary." The crazed Harry Potter fan mutterd.... "Nearly had the job at barnes and nobles too...."

Posted by hallowsaint Jul 15th 2007

good very good....your almost there....now let that anger flow through out the entirety of your body like Harry would and strike down all those that oppose you.

Posted by rob15 Jul 15th 2007

hallowsaint, you sound like someone i know, do you want me to fetch PC Master Yungsung?

Posted by hallowsaint Jul 15th 2007

that depends on whether PC Master Yungsung can find me out or not because i shall not be found for who i truly am....i will stay hidden till the end of times when i shall destroy all evil with the mighty cheesecake.

Posted by Bizelburp123 Jul 15th 2007

Posted by She_Who_Must_Not_Be_Named 1 4 minutes ago Time just seems to slow down during the count down for a new Harry Potter book and this time drag is even WORSE. "I should of gotten that job at the libary." The crazed Harry Potter fan mutterd.... "Nearly had the job at barnes and nobles too...." I don't have a job, but volunteering i still get pretty close to the books!! and can i join the underground cheesecake movement?

Posted by rob15 Jul 15th 2007

yes BIZELBURP: i now pronounce you a cheesecakeian

Posted by hallowsaint Jul 15th 2007

of course you can join the underground cheesecake movement....it is our dream to see all cheesecake free one day..this means free of spoilers and free of evil entirely...if we succeed we will all have an abundance of cheesecake that will never run out.....and when the Mighty Cheesecake is found itself the rivers will flow like milk and honey and the ground will provide much for all of us weary cheesecake followers who deserve all because we despise the evil spoilers that are trying to take over our beloved cheesecake world.

Posted by rob15 Jul 15th 2007

first you must make the Cheeesecakeian Oath: "I promise to eat cheesecake everyday, I will not read spoilers, I will fetch Rob15 cheesecake when he asks(jk), and I will fight to destroy the mighty brainwasher, Housifa Dirtburglar"

Posted by She_Who_Must_Not_Be_Named1 Jul 15th 2007

Maybe the barns and nobles people we let me have the box that they came in..... If it was big enough I'd take it home and read deathly hollows in it. I could see my mom staring at me like she would a drug attic "You need to eat" she would say and I'd be screaming "NO BACK OFF MIIIINEEEE!!! Your going to take it from me arent you?!?! My PRECIOUS...." Then taping myself in side the box with some pocky and a light. She'd start muttering about me being too old to act like this and I'd say "NEVER. I may be nearly legal but THIS is HARRY POTTER darn!"

Posted by hallowsaint Jul 15th 2007

this movement shall be called C.H.E.R. (Cheesecake Has Equal Rights) even if they are suppressed and that's where we come in.....we free them and once again validate their rights that all cheesecake should be free from evil spoilers

Posted by SteffieSnape Jul 15th 2007

Yay BIZELBURP!! You're an undergroung/underworld/ evil beanpole cheesecakeian too! We shall double our efforts to vanquish all these evil librarians who have read the books early. And if they haven't and it's all a lie.... then you, me, rob15 and hallowsaint shall have a cheesecake party and dance wildly among the beanpoles. Woot! Oh, and we will hunt down the mighty brainwasher, Housifa Dirtburglar and feed her cheesecake until he/she/it bursts and cries like a little baby! Muahaha!

Posted by sticky Jul 15th 2007

what?? will that increase the risk of spoilers maybe... i hope not. i really want one fo those boxes tho. i am going to sa politrly to the poeple in waterstones: 'would you like me to take that box out of your way?' *flutterseyelashes*

Posted by hallowsaint Jul 15th 2007

oh and we'll have to destroy the evil Guardian for posting spoilers to the public......then we'll build a mighty cheesecake city where all cheesecakeians can come and read their Harry Potter books spoiler free!!!

Posted by She_Who_Must_Not_Be_Named1 Jul 15th 2007

O.o Cheesecake! I wish to join C.H.E.R. !

Posted by mithril95 Jul 15th 2007

The whole spoiler thing is dreadful, as eschism said. I didn't read the opening because, although it's quite minor, I want to be surprised as much as possible. Someone needs to alert Jo now to the leak, even if it's false, because it's pretty bad. IMO, MuggleNet should have put that on a seperate page or not posted it at all. I'm sure there are some who want to see it, and if the Guardian page is taken down, Mugglenet will have the page, but as fans of HP I don't think they should post it. Also, their reason for putting it on the front page is incredibly faulty: if the Guardian takes down the page Mugglenet should too. We need to tell Jo and she needs to do her best to stop all these leaks. I'm sure she's not happy, and I'm shocked that Mugglenet would keep this posting up if the Guardian page is taken down, even if Jo doesn't directly ask them to. If they keep it up, I'm sending an angry letter to Emerson. How could they? There's no way that Jo would be happy with the leak, and I can't believe they're encouraging spoilers (even if you have to highlight the box to read). They should be more considerate of her wishes, this being the last book and all. After all, as I said above, if the page is taken down from The Guardian it obviously shouldn't be up on the net at all; in fact it shouldn't be even if the page isn't taken down. Emerson: WWJD - WHAT WOULD JO DO?

Posted by hallowsaint Jul 15th 2007

then join she_who_must_not_be_named and fulfill your cheesecake destiny and destroy all of the evil librarians who want their books back just on time when we all know that they just read all the books ahead of time and post nasty spoilers on the internet for our innocent eyes to see.......we will not take it anymore. we will rise to the challenge and destroy the evil librarian threat.

Posted by SteffieSnape Jul 15th 2007

Welcome, She_Who_Must_Not_Be_Named 1, to the C.H.E.R movement! You will now join us in eating cheesecake and hunting down the foulest evil librarians and all others who wreak havoc by means of spoilers. It may be dangerous, but by sticking together we will overcome this time of darkness. And if things turn to worse, then we may have to unite our powers and call upon the almighty JK Godess and ask her to release her wrath of fury among all those who disregard her wishes! Long live JK Godess! Long live the Cheesecakieans!

Posted by sticky Jul 15th 2007

what is the point? why can't they wait until the 21st!!!! i am paranoid now that whilst on the nternet i will acidentally come acros a spoiler and read i without realising it, then it will be spoiled. =( i am under the threat of not coming on here at all now...nnoooo

Posted by She_Who_Must_Not_Be_Named1 Jul 15th 2007

Says it to the tune of the hogwarts school song: "I promise to eat cheesecake everyday, I will not read spoilers, I will fetch Rob15 cheesecake when he asks, and I will fight to destroy the mighty brainwasher, Housifa Dirtburglar"............. .............. Posted by mithril95 2 minutes ago : "Emerson: WWJD - WHAT WOULD JO DO?" .... O_O Lara (sp?) Mallory would have a heart attack if she saw that on a t-shirt. *gets out some iron on paper*

Posted by SteffieSnape Jul 15th 2007

Hahaha! Lara Mallory! I like the way you think She_Who_Must_Not_Be_Named ! I upgrade your cheesecake status! Bonus points times 10! High Score!

Posted by hallowsaint Jul 15th 2007

ah young padawon you are very close to being a master cheesecakeian....when that day comes we will dance madly between the bean poles of truth and feast on the cheesecake of freedom laughing at the evil spoilers because of how stupid they truly were.

Posted by shmcminn1 Jul 15th 2007

*drool*

Posted by hallowsaint Jul 15th 2007

ah yes laura mallory we have all been brain washed by the mighty JO goddess.....not.....we've all just seen the truth that evil spoilers are ruining our once beautiful cheesecake world and we will not stand for it anymore

Posted by SteffieSnape Jul 15th 2007

I agree hallowsaint.... a day of justicse is growing ever nearer and soon the darkness that has clouded and confunded so many fans of The Chosen One aka Harry Potter, will see a new dawn, bright and full of cheesecake!

Posted by She_Who_Must_Not_Be_Named1 Jul 15th 2007

Long live the goddess of the quill J.K Rowling! We are unworthy! Long Live Rob15! (actually eating cheesecake... Makes this even more funny) Shove the rotten cheesecake down the throughts off all blasphemers and shun the nonbeleavers... SHUN SHHHHHHHHHUNNNNN....
