Beware of spoilers (but not on MuggleNet)
Beware of spoilers (but not on MuggleNet) Now that we're just five days from the release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, plot spoilers that actually look legitimate are starting to leak online. For some people, it's been a ten-year wait for Book 7, and that could be so easily destroyed if we find out what will happen too early.

Therefore, be warned: there are few spoiler-safe sites on the net right now. However, MuggleNet guarantees you that spoilers will not appear on any of our pages.

On another note, today marks the two-year anniversary of Half-Blood Prince's release.

Posted by xilovegeorgex Jul 16th 2007

This is gonna be awesome! Yepp ten years we've been waiting. The end is near... *inspirational music* =]

Posted by Talons Jul 16th 2007

Third? im being a hermit to avoid spoilers from now on.

Posted by NorfolkWright Jul 16th 2007

happy birthday HALF-BLOOD PRINCE !! top 10?

Posted by meant2be_a_marauder Jul 16th 2007

hmmm...previously they used to post a warning at the top of the comments page, but they haven't done it now. Iwonder why..

Posted by grimey3559 Jul 16th 2007

I would hate for someone to ruin it for me. and Happy Birthday HBP! Top 10?

Posted by harry_victoria Jul 16th 2007

Happy Birthday HBP! top 10! The end is near... so is part of my soul.

Posted by Karebear852k3 Jul 16th 2007

Happy Birthday HBP!!!! Can NOT WAIT for Deathly Hallows! I only started reading HP in the beginning of college, but I feel like it's 10 years in the making!

Posted by Sarah_Louise Jul 16th 2007

thankyou, mugglenet. i was wondering when you would post something like this. i am getting so sick of people posting links. grr. i do not believe anything unless it comes out o JK Rowling's mouth herself (or, of course, the books)

Posted by gossipgirl_xxjas Jul 16th 2007

Those people just have to ruin it for everyone, don't they?? Although I've gotta say I'm tempted to read the spoilers ... but I DEFINITELY regretted finding out that Dumbledore was going to die before I read HBP, so I think I'm going to restrain myself. I wish JKR had put some more teaser-type stuff on her website, but no such luck :( I guess she wants to keep it all hush-hush, seeing as it's the last book and all... Whatever, I just can't wait until Saturday!! Top 10?

Posted by annesmith Jul 16th 2007

cool happy birthday HBP .... gonna be hard to avoid the comments.... i was destroyed with hbp after finding out dumbledore died by finding a spoiler.... i am sad jk hasnt put anyhting on her site for us but also happy...cos it means everything is gonna be a suprise. i read the guardian spoiler andn i wish i hadnt now...

Posted by Swindle Jul 16th 2007

The Half Blood Prince rocked! I just finished re-reading it last week. I can't believe its been 2 years since it came out. Whoa... :-)

Posted by Order_of_ThePhoenix132 Jul 16th 2007

Yeah. I'm not going on the internet until I finish book 7.

Posted by saturngal Jul 16th 2007

I remember when HBP came out and I was in the mugglenet comments the night before the release. Someone had posted all the chapter titles to the book, and everyone was laughing at him like, where did all the slugs come from? your crazy... I couldnt believe when the book came out that the chapters he posted were actually right! I tried to find the post later, but I guess mugglenet deleted it. Anyway, Im so tempted to go and search out all the spoilers, but I'll just have to be patient I guess... sighs.. (wishes it were July 21 now!)

Posted by Tonks1975 Jul 16th 2007

I will not be reading anymore comments. Because with all the book stores in the world you know there is some people who will be dishonest and look and tell.

Posted by Sarah_Louise Jul 16th 2007

oh gosh, i really do hope mugglenetters will start behaving a little more now. THANKYOU MUGGLENET.

Posted by mugglequeen Jul 16th 2007

Woohoo! Happy birthday HBP! hahaha! The death of Sirius and Dumbledore have been spoilt for me... so anyone who wants to spoil anything that happens in book 7 - you are a low life. No one will be doing it this time as i'm not leaving my room until i've finished! So... i won't be reading anything until.. probibly early monday morning.. then going to UNI and trying to stay awake all afternoon.. lol. Hope everyone enjoys DH .. it's been a long road and now finally it's nearlly here! Although, it seems so surreal to me! i can't believe it's this SAUTRDAY! and it'll all be over.. no wonder i'm so down at the moment. Enjoy your rushed re-read of HBP (i know i will) and enjoy your FIRST EVER reading of DH and definatly not our last ;) (well for anyone who comments on this site)

Posted by Rayen Jul 16th 2007

ok, the next line is purely bull: so in DH Harry turns pro figure skater! (JUST KIDDING) I think it sucks that people want to spoil it for others, we've been waiting this long why spoil it now?

Posted by pbox123 Jul 16th 2007

I've heard: BELLATRIX KILLS RON VOLDEMORT KILLS SNAPE HARRY DOESN'T DIE, HARRY IS NOT A HORCRUX

Posted by Elruwen Jul 16th 2007

Oh my god. I really do hope that those pictures weren't real. Ah. I'm panicking.

Posted by EowynRowena Jul 16th 2007

Thanks mugglenet, I'm really happy about your strict anti-spoiler policy! I too will stop reading comments from now on to avoid being spoiled, it would so ruin it for me. But I'll totally be back in the morning of July 21 ;) Time is just flying right now and I'm starting to feel like it's going too fast. Can it really be that number seven is less than five days away? I kind of wished it would take some more time now...but at the same time I am, of course, totally having kittens (hehe) about the release...

Posted by megblack89 Jul 16th 2007

I have been waiting 10 years, and have been contemplating even going to a release party. Ive taken off work so I can lock myself in my room for 3 days and savour every last moment.

Posted by DumbledoresGotStyle Jul 16th 2007

Posted by SheWhoVisitsFrequently Jul 16th 2007

Knock it off, pbox. What's wrong with you? Bloody awesome on the 2 year anniversary though. Can't believe it's been that long. Oh, how time flies.

Posted by Northern_light Jul 16th 2007

I think I'll stop reading comments now... or tomorrow... or maybe not.

Posted by ebhpfan07 Jul 16th 2007

what about spoilers on comment pages??

Posted by hirushinz Jul 16th 2007

Oh!!!!! nooooooooo!!! wht is dis pbox123 sayin???? hav i jus read a spoiler? I certainly am panicking!!!!!!

Posted by sticky Jul 16th 2007

Happy birthday HBP!!!! pbox- i am going to say this once please don't. it really isn't fair on us who have been waiting years for this book and even if you are making them up whatever just don't anyway. It really isn't fair to be ruining this for fans. We have been told by mugglenet that there won't be spoilers on any of the pages on this site,a dn you are posting them. keep your spoilers to yourelf please. cool for the annisversary tho. i didn't realise how long ago it was when it came out

Posted by mugglemary Jul 16th 2007

BETTER TURN OFF THE COMMENT PAGES MUGGLENET, YOU ARE THE ONLY HP SITE STILL ALLOWING THEM, ALREADY PEOPLE ARE BEING SPOILED!

Posted by hallowsaint Jul 16th 2007

yeah Mugglenet there's been a lot of spoilers even on the comments page and most of them are coming from someone with the login name Sectumbumprahaha so dude please stay off of here.......you hear that ten years we've been waiting and i personally don't want it spoiled but i still want to stay on here with my HP friends and celebrate the final book release and also find out news on the release but as of Thursday I'm done with Mugglenet until I've finished reading it after the release on Saturday.

Posted by Kloax Jul 16th 2007

This is proof that those pages can be easily FAKED This is NOT a spoiler it is proof those pages can be faked . http://img2.fre eimagehost ing.net/image.php?1d117ce aa5.jpg

Posted by SilverSprings23 Jul 16th 2007

two years? it doesn't seem that long. i think it's pointless to try and spoil such a great series/book.

Posted by HermionesCrookshanks Jul 16th 2007

Thanks Mugglenet for the no spoilers policy! Personally, though, I will be a hermit, with no electronics, no newspapers, nothing, until I finish Deathly Hallows. Which will not take long, I'll finish it on the 21st! Oh, and happy birthday Half-Blood Prince! (I'm currently reading HBP for the, oh, lets say around, 12th time! Thanks again Mugglenet!

Posted by chommy Jul 16th 2007

My brothers have already read the Epilogue, the pages where the people die, and read Aunt Petunia's secret. I do one bad thing and they'll ruin it for me. :(

Posted by egowza Jul 16th 2007

I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!! I hate spoilers though, BOOOOO! I'm going to the midnight opening (I'm in the UK) so it's all exciting. They have all sorts of fun & games on the night, plus I'm entering a comp to be the person to unveil the book, woohoo! However I will be attending the opening with one essential piece of equipment - my MP3 player! I would hate to pass someone in the street and they say, so-and-so dies and Harry is xyz. Grrrr! Thankfully I can't lip read! Thank you Mugglenet, for keeping this spoiler-free!

Posted by sticky Jul 16th 2007

i think mugglenet should now disable the comments pages. they can't keep them open if people are going to post spoilers, aren't there people watching these pages? Either that or the people posting the spoilers should be banned or whatever. It really isn't fair now. I don't want to have to stay off here until i have read it, but i want to share my excitement with other fans, and people are spoiling that.

Posted by toast10 Jul 16th 2007

4 DAYS -WHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HHHHHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Posted by hallowsaint Jul 16th 2007

thanks Kloax for showing us how it can be done cause i've been wondering how all of these spoil sports have been getting the pages the way they could and for a long time I suspected nargals but now I just know it's people, photoshop, and a printer........thanks a lot Kloax i can breathe again

Posted by peace_love_harrypotter Jul 16th 2007

why do people have to do that? why can't they leave the book plot to themselves, and get on with their lives?

Posted by Sectumbumprahaha Jul 16th 2007

Lol hallowsaint.. I did eventually admit that those were my theories. Hell, i panicked lots of people with cos they ,rather SEEMED legit... Anyway, reuters published an article about hermione dying...

Posted by chellabella Jul 16th 2007

GOD BLESS MUGGLENET AND GOD BLESS AMERICA!

Posted by teachdaisy Jul 16th 2007

Mugglenet-you need to start reading the comments because I was just on another site and they listed spoilers they got from MUGGELNET's comment pages. So JUST TO LET YOU KNOW..... right now you guys are the front runners in letting people post spoilers, you're name is going hand and hand with spoilers!!! Shame on you! Jo would be very disappointed!

Posted by egowza Jul 16th 2007

Oh and pbox, stop being an arse! You are not big, clever or cool, just another idiot! I agree with some of the other comments, if they can I think Mugglenet admin should disable comments, stop muppets like pbox trying to ruin things! He/She heard NOTHING!!!!! Oh and happy birthday HBP!

Posted by toast10 Jul 16th 2007

Mugglenet is nt doin as much 4 DH as they did 4 Hbp member we had all the pictures of the shops windows displays and of the reserve tickets, 2 b honest mugglenet is a bit of a letdown this year

Posted by IvyClimber Jul 16th 2007

Mugglenet has always been clear about spoilers in its comments being harder to control. If you don't want the possibility of spoilers, don't read the comments. I appreciate very much that Mugglenet never posts spoilers on its front pages... I go on media blackout before each book goes out, but I love that I can always count on Mugglenet until the minute of the release and after. This is why it's been my main HP page for the last 8 years or so. Thanks!

Posted by hallowsaint Jul 16th 2007

hey sectumbumpraha if you do make theories that's fine but please just say that they are theories because this is a special time for millions of people and noody wants it ruined or thought of being ruined.

Posted by sticky Jul 16th 2007

Jo would be ashamed of mugglenet's comments pages right now. i can see her cringing.....shame!!! the shame!!! mugglenet really does need to do something now, they can't ignore this.

Posted by hallowsaint Jul 16th 2007

hey sticky you want some cheesecake?
