Beware of spoilers (but not on MuggleNet)
Beware of spoilers (but not on MuggleNet) Now that we're just five days from the release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, plot spoilers that actually look legitimate are starting to leak online. For some people, it's been a ten-year wait for Book 7, and that could be so easily destroyed if we find out what will happen too early.

Therefore, be warned: there are few spoiler-safe sites on the net right now. However, MuggleNet guarantees you that spoilers will not appear on any of our pages.

On another note, today marks the two-year anniversary of Half-Blood Prince's release.

If you guys really didn't want to be spoiled you'd stop reading the comments. It's that easy. If you read the comments than part of you wants to be spoiled. All I know is when I get the book I'm turning straight to the last page to see who's still alive.

Posted by JHawk Jul 16th 2007

why would you do that... wouldnt it be better to jsut read the book... and if my epilogues are correct. the very last page wont reveal it. :) haha

Posted by hallebailey89 Jul 16th 2007

i know this doesnt really concern spoilers but is j.k. rowling gonna make a 8th book bcuz some magazines are saying that she is.

Posted by JHawk Jul 16th 2007

well thats news to me, because on her website she says that she isnt. as for an 8th i can see it happenening, but not anytime soon. I think JKR said most ties will be mended but there WILL be things left for SOME speculation. SOOOOOOOOOOO 8th book could be a possibility later in life

Posted by dumbys_not_dead Jul 16th 2007

i think i acccidently read a spoiler and im so mad. im going into lockdown mode from now until friday.

Posted by AccioWand Jul 16th 2007

My sister in law read the epilogue in portkey.com (possibly fake), and she's now very depressed....so please people stop reading the spoilers, we have been waiting for years now....don't ruin it for yourselves!

DOBBY KILLS KREACHER BY STICKING HIS NOSE IN A MEAT GRINDER

Posted by ILuvHP4Ev3rr Jul 16th 2007

well im not reading these comments, cuz just about a week ago, some1 posted some comment telling every1 what the end of DH could be--doubt it was true, but really. i got me mad. just wanted 2 say, luv ya mugglenet, lol thanks =)

Posted by Fiji221 Jul 16th 2007

Happy Birthday HBP! And hooray for MuggleNet not posting spoilers!

Posted by shaker Jul 16th 2007

if there will be no spoilers on this site then wasn't there one on mugglecast a couple weeks ago or was thar fake???

Posted by Angieb303 Jul 16th 2007

JHawk 18 -- You said "why would you do that... wouldnt it be better to jsut read the book..." yet you read some spoiler online. That's much better than reading the actual end of the book.

Posted by xohplove Jul 16th 2007

happy anniversary HBP!! woot that's also the 2 year anniversary of my Bat Mitzvah. I remember I couldn't wait in line at midnight for HBP because of my Bat Mitzvah...I couldn't be up into the early hours of the morning when my service started at...like...10 am! hehe. btw mugglenet, I'm glad you put that giant red spoiler warning up there.

Posted by GABZx3 Jul 16th 2007

Yes people do NOT post spoilers PLEASE. If this book is spoiled for me, that would ruin and scar me for life =l every hp has been spoiled for me BECAUSE OF STUPID SPOILERS and ONE time it was in the comment section so THANK U to the person who told me snape kills dumbledore! I think I'm going to avoid the internet after today until I'm done reading DH.

Posted by JHawk Jul 16th 2007

Angieb, i said why would you do that, beucase if you are going to stay spoiler free till friday night, why would you wait all that time and then ruin it by skipping to the last page when you have it in your hands. and like i said, i BELIEVE what i have is real, but it might not be. and even if it is, it didnt ruin the WHOLE book, just one titbit of info that i could have seen coming, if taken from a certain point of view. the rest of the book though is still shrouded in mystery for me, and that is why im stille xcited about reading it friday night till saturday night straight :)

****Spoiler: DOBBY KILLS KREACHER BY STICKING KREACHERS NOSE IN A MEAT GRINDER IN THE KITCHENS****

Posted by Angieb303 Jul 16th 2007

JHawk-- If you have the "real thing" then wouldn't I just be reading the exact thing that you read. If you didn't ruin it, then how would I be ruining it? Starting to make sense yet?

Posted by JHawk Jul 16th 2007

I read the epilogue, realistically it doesnt give away the story as to HOW, WHY or WHAT happens in the book. and like i said IF IT IS REAL, then it doesnt give away too much to the point of me saying, "well that was dumb to read early"... beucase it doesnt have that much of an impact that I thought it would. its an epilogue and only sums up what happens AFTER the main story of HP, therefore, it hasn't and wont ruin anything. ALSO, if it is the same, then aren't I going to read the story more than once, and by reading 700+ pages prior to re-reading the epilogue, wont most of that ending be forgotten in the confusion and excitement that will be The Deathly Hallows!? :)

Posted by RedFawkes Jul 16th 2007

Happy Birthday HBP! But, I remember back when HBP came out, someone told me the Dumbledore died before I finished reading it. I was like "Thanks, you just ruined it." But I still cried. So people who are trying to spoil it, you're not cool. So, go away.

Posted by PotterChickFoSho Jul 16th 2007

if you don't want to be spoiled dont read the freakin comments. Of course theres going to be spoilers. GET A LIFE SPOILERS!..Happy birthday HBP

Someone hung a banner on a bridge saying Dumbledore dies on a bridge last time......... The book was out, but no noe had had time to read it properlly, someone had just like scanned the book.... God what will happen this time??

Posted by MasterofPotter Jul 16th 2007

darn! I thought it was very beleivible. mabey i should get a picture next time

Posted by maddy_of_hogwarts Jul 16th 2007

happy birthday HBP!!!! and spoiler ppl...dont ruin it for everyone else. take it from me...im a published author and with poetry and my friends dont want to see what i wrote until the book comes out.

Posted by JHawk Jul 16th 2007

maddy_of, what kinda books do you write, i was a little confused on what you wrote above. and people in their right mind won't spoil if they know, jsut like me wh, if im correct, knows the epilogue, but WILL NOT spoil. thats like people finding out Darth Vader was Luke's father before ESB came out... although not even the actors knew, you get the idea. its terrible to find things like that out!.

Posted by Nizmat Jul 16th 2007

Don't read 'em, don't believe 'em! None of the rumours were true that I heard, regarding the earlier books! How many of you believe everything you read in the Daily Sport?? (Or the national enquirer if you're the other side of the pond!) Just cos it's printed doesn't make it real!! Look at the Daily Prophet for instance!!

Posted by darkhairhermy Jul 16th 2007

well with the libraries being able to open the boxes, no kidding there are spoilers!!!

Posted by Sally Jul 16th 2007

O gosh, I cant help it, I want to real spoilers but not like who dies, who kills who, but like just read the first two chapters.. or see chapter pictures.. thats it.. trying to find this, I have read some "spoilers" but theres a lot that there fake, like this and this and this die, this one kills this one, that I dunno what is really real and what is fake, so I havent been really spoiled

Posted by JHawk Jul 16th 2007

i started spoil searching when my interest got the best of me yesterday morning, when i found what i did, i stopped cause i was like what am i doing!... unless i can find the book unabridged from start to finish online beforehand, im not gonna spoil myself anymore. (i am buying the book but reading it early would be AWESOME :))

Posted by maddy_of_hogwarts Jul 16th 2007

JHawk- i write poetry and books. my first poem is getting published as we speak. my friends dont wanna no wat its about because they want to wait until the book is out.its the same way with HP...people dont want it ruined.

Posted by hpgirl21053 Jul 16th 2007

pbox 123, why did u put that spoiler on......? why? i read it, and now i am CRAZY.....then u say one is true and the other isn't.....i mean.....i think i really hate u right now.......and i truly think mugglenet should shut down these comments, b/c there are people like me who just want to comment, and then see the spoiler warning and a spoiler at the same time......i mean, don't say their are no spoilers on any of ur pages and then have one right there in plain sight........... i really hope these aren't true b/c i am actually crying at the fact that i feel like i might have accidently found out what happens.....thnx....

Posted by lidietta Jul 16th 2007

hooray 4 Deathly Hallows!!!!!! =)

Posted by Kid_A Jul 16th 2007

I think MuggleNet should close comments for the news for a few days, like till Sunday. Because people want to read the comments of other news than DH, and some people STILL spoiling about DH in every news comments. In my opinion, that's the best way...!

Posted by hpgirl21053 Jul 16th 2007

Kid_A i totally agree, i think mugglenet in a way is being stupid by keeping these on.......!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !

Posted by Heir_of_Ravenclaw Jul 16th 2007

All I can say is : DO NOT GO ON YOUTUBE. The spoilers on there are ridiculous and they come at you when you're not expecting it.

Posted by anegs Jul 16th 2007

happy birthday HBP!!!!

Posted by JHawk Jul 16th 2007

HPgirl, i know what you mean, I stumbled on supposed spoilers, that COULD be real... read them, but they're not THAT bad. I mean we still don't know who what where when why or how it all happens. so we're still relatively spoiler free... and if im correct, one of PB's things is wrong... and its good that way. :) leaves us to read to find out the truth.

Posted by jerkyhole Jul 16th 2007

Bellatrix kills Ron, Percy and LUpin die, Harry is not a Horcrux, Harry kills Voldy Thank you, come again.

Posted by hpgirl21053 Jul 16th 2007

STOP THESE SPOILERS jerkyhole I DON" T BELIEVE UR IDIOTIC SPOIL...........

Posted by jerkyhole Jul 16th 2007

*laugh evilly* Whatever you want... HAHAHAHAHA!!!

Posted by pbox123 Jul 16th 2007

I found the book! Well till page 494 anyway. Its all there in front of me on my desktop. They're actually photos of each page of the book lying on a table. There's just no way it is not legit. I'm desperately trying to not peek at them and wait till Saturday. :(

Posted by aleksio Jul 16th 2007

ron dies, everyone knows it, but i still don't think it actually spoils anything, i mean, we all knew that in advance, that ron/hermione would die, who doesn't really matter imo. What i don't want to know, and what would like ruin the book, is a detailed descrption of snapes loyalty, "the story of snape," secret's we'll find out about dumbledore, and HOW harry defeats voldy, thats the kind of things that would ruin everything

Posted by JHawk Jul 16th 2007

I completely agree...
