Oh really, no spoilers than why right now on this front page is there blackened out areas that supposedly has parts of the text.

what i think they mean by spoilers is giving away something IMPORTANT about the book, not the first paragraph, and that is seen from a documentary screenshot, and not taken from some joe blow source. i didnt find that to be revealing at all. :) therefore i think mugglenet is at no fault for that, other then stop the comments and we'll all be good for 4 days. :)

ugh, i am so depressed right now. i clicked on a page at a forum that i go to(not here) that said 'spoilers' on it...and i thought that it was fake..then i got to the bottom. there were pictures. of the inside of the book. you could see the cover from it, so one could tell it was legit. so now i know what's gonna happen. well, i suppose i got what i deserved for clicking on it when it said 'spoilers' on it, but i'm so angry with myself now. believe me, its going to suck all the fun out of reading it when i get my hands on my own copy. * le sigh * best to just stay the hell off the internet until after saturday.

whether they are true or not, you guys have to realize that pbox didn't make a 'mistake' when he posted them, and trying to sound like he didn't mean to post them right now, when that was his intent. i'm a huge fan of the show lost, and when spoilers for the season finale came out, some people try to ruin it for others because it makes them feel good. he did it on purpose, and wants you guys to be upset with him and to everyone making up fake spoilers, no matter how ridiculous and stupid they might be.... just don't. there is no need to do that, because someone might mistake that joke as something that is true

I agree. I have zero qualms about saying that I'm drawn to spoilers like moth to a flame. The only one allowed to spoil me the book is ME. I hear whispers from a far reach about the 'fake' epilogue. Let's just say, first thing I'm gonna do is skim the epilogue, and verify this for meself... You sure did win, jerky. I still don't believe you, but congratulations.

On harmonyforever (since pk is closed), a topic has been put together to talk about this recent spoiler. After calming down a bit, most of us have come to the conclusion that it is fake. -it is written deathly HOLLOWS -Hermione's middle name was written Jean ( when it's supose to be Jane) -The context of the fidelius charm is wrong -Most of what JKR told us we would see, or understand isn't in the book -ect.( the other ones contains spoilers for the stories) Need I say more? Someone could have easily written his own version of the book (like fanfictions), printed it like a book and take pictures of it. Btw, isn't it a little suspicious that he only 'scanned' a portion of the book. ( there is a retatively large part of the book missing). Also, someone with a masters degree in art ( or something of the sort) told us that 20 to 30 people can draw the same types of cartoons the book has. Of course, it sound crazy that someone would trouble himself to do all of this, but it is ''do'able''. Umm...if this site is supposed to be spoiler-free, I don't think that even possible spoilers, just like that exceprt posted last weekend, should be posted, even in a highlight-to-read way. Accidents happen (it almost happened to me), and people will get spoiled.

Some people aren't gonna like what's on the leaked pages. A lot of it I LOVED (chapters 4 and 5 are amazing) but some of it was a little '???' although I thought that about HBP too. I understand what Jo meant now about getting upset over an early death.

listen, no one is saying HIGHLIGHT THIS!! with no explanation. Try reading the article first, then if you highlight it's your own fault. For Half Blood Prince, my children dressed up and we went to the midnight party at our local HUGE dealer. We spent hours playing H.P. Trivia, making wands, watching the costume competition and drinking pumpkin juice. When the time came to line up for our 3 books (out bracelet numbers were in the low 60's) One of the people with whom we were playing trivia (a stranger in his 40's) had a bracelet in the teens... He proceded to get his book after which he faught against the crowd to find me and my children further back in line and proceeded to let us know that he had quickly looked to the back of the book and TOLD us there on the spot ... (no spoiler here) WHO DIED! I hadn't even paid for or even held my books yet! I was in TOTAL shock! Not only because of the death but because someone would be so inconsiderate to do that! I spent the next 27 hours turning pages I did NOT want to turn reading a story I did NOT want to read. (ok maybe that's a bit thick) but still it was a HUGE weight on my mind. I would have LOVEED to be SHOCKED when I got to that part of the book instead. This FridayNight/SaturdayMorni ng I will be ARMED and DANGEROUS! If some idiot opens there mouth and spoils it for me.... Well..... you will hear ALL about it on CNN I am sure!

Thanks mugglenet for not posting spoilers! I have been SO careful about what i have been reading about HP lately because i don't want Deathly Hallows ruined for me. I even made my my brother swear not to tell me what happens because he usually finishes before me!

It's no joke. Scans of the final pages of the book are out there. I've been sent them already and reading even the first line will spoil something for you (Which is all I read). I won't be using the internet at all until I finish the book.

Meh...I went and read a few fake spoilers, but if the real spoilers truly are out there, I don't want to ruin it. I remember I was so excited when I got HBP, and when I was 200 pages or so into it I accidentally dropped it, and OF COURSE it had to open to the exact page when Snape killed Dumbledore...what are the chances? I was so mad. :) Anyway, thanks for the anti-spoiler policy, Mugglenet! :) I might avoid the rest of the internet until I'm done with DH.
