If you look at the text in the scanned pages, they are grammatically a mess as well as written in a completely different style than what Jo uses. The references aren't there, nor is the depth of her writing. I'm telling you-it's a photoshopped copy-(It isn't hard to do if you know what you're doing on photoshop.) People are getting anxious and Scholastic is getting involved as an example to what will happen if there is a huge leak or if the book is transcribed online without consent-(especially before the release date.) It's all common procedure. They are fake. {I read some of the scans.}

Yeah. no one has mentioned the guys at borders who filmed the book and told of major spoilers. A lot of what they are claiming is different from spoilers i've seen over the past week. The copy they have looks legit, and the guys are sitting in front of a palate of boxes containing the books.

These are NOT geniue spoilers, I must admit mugglenet does run a bit slow on news... They're fake, MTV has an article, Arthur Levine through his comments imply these are total fake. And the spoilers are just plain bad fan-fiction.

The video Norainen linked to demonstrates how easy it is to get a copy of the book. Basically some guys working in a bookstore say they are quiting so might as well go out with a bang, then they go out back where there are a load of Deathly Hallows boxes and pick up a copy of the book. They show all the stuff in the front and it is definately real. Then they wave the book around and start to give a summery, so i stopped there. But that was definately the real book so loads of people could get their hands on it and scan it in quite easily. Anyhoo bring on Saturday!!!

THEY. ARE. REAL. None of you have even read the leaked book. LJ - spoil_me_dh. Read it, and then tell me it's fake. No one could come up with 700+ pages of high-quality writing WITH UNIQUE CHAPTER ART and then photoshop hundreds of images to make it look like the real book or actually get the fake story bound and then photographed. Are you actually insane!?

If Scholastic petitioned for a subpoena knowing that the images were in fact not infringing, then there likely would be an abuse of process action against the company by the website (and any other named parties in the subpoena) Now, this does not prove that the alleged infringement is the text itself and not the artwork, as was discussed earlier, but the successful application for a subpoena does mean that Scholastic was able to convince a Federal Judge to issue that subpoena, which means they had to show by the preponderance of the evidence that an infringement was likely. I will look for the text of the subpoena.

What I find so incredibley hilarious (and sort of ignorant) about this whole situation is those of you who are saying THIS IS NOT JKR'S STYLE!! Has anyone ever uploaded the whole HP Book before the release before?

It IS the real book, I'm reading the second chapter and that's something Jo has written yes or yes. She brilliantly satirizes nowadays press and media. It's hilarious. Rita Skeeter does with Dumbledore what nowadays press do with all those famous people who die and they invent all these things about their past trying to make everyone belive they were not so clear and perfect. LOL it's SO brilliant, only Jo could write that. Anyways, that's all I've read, because I want to read the book, I will wait to buy it this Friday night. I don't want to read it on my computer, it's too odd.

Bloody hell, for those of you that have read the spoilers....mistakedly or not ...DONT, give your opinion on what the spoilers contained ...for example..saying that you thought the ending was good/bad. Saying that in its self is giving the spoiler a voice on mugglenet and its not appreciated.

i saw this headline on comcast.net and i of course had to click on it and i saw the spoiler page. and unfortunatly some of the deaths. hopefully its not true. *keeps fingers crossed*

Firstly, I'd like to say that I find spoilers repulsive. It takes away from the fun of the midnight release. Whether or not it is real is not certain, but it appears to be. I don't know who this should be reported to, but there it is, anyway.

Anything that contradicts the leaked 700+ page book is false. Ron does not die. Hermione does not die. Neville does not kill Bellatrix (Molly does - this part is awesome). Snape is not evil. Harry marries Ginny and Hermione marries Ron. On Saturday, you will open the book and the opening will be the same as the one in the Guardian article. When you get to the end, the epilogue will be called 'Nineteen Years Later', in which Harry names his son Albus Severus. I know, it sucks, but it's true. These photographs cannot have been faked - take a look at them. Serious legal action is being taken against the person who uploaded these photographs - this *would not happen* if they were fake. It is NOT a crime to upload photos of a FAKE BOOK. :)

oh, and yahoo.com has an article...don't click on the sites. but it does say some stuff that'll make us happy, like how stuff is contradicting other stuff about a main character...so obviously no one really knows what happens to the CHEESECAKE!!!

cbloodworth, someone took pics of the entire book and uploaded them. The publishers already know it, that's what all this newsupdate is about.

Not a good sign that the guy is actually getting in trouble for this, that means it could be, somewhat true. My dad read it and said it's pretty bad, and doesn't seem like J.K. Rowling's style of writing. Could it be, perhaps that he might of altered the ending? Like, some parts of it were legit but he changed some parts to make it more shocking? My dad also said that when he read it many more people died that J.K. said. She said two characters would die, and apparently a lot more did. Even more than two MAJOR characters died.

I'm leaving the internet. I'll be back Sun. Ther're too many spoilers and they are saying different things. One says this person will die then another says this person who supposidly died is going to later marry this other person. I'm just avoiding the net all together until Sun. Hopefully I will get to purchase the real thing come Friday night. I was going to put a copy on hold at my Library, though I would be on a waiting list of 77 people LOL.
