Maybe people shouldn't post spoilers, true...But people then have no right to turn around and complain if some spoilsport DOES post them given that there is an obvious, clear spoiler warning on the top of the page.

I posted this earlier, but I got no response. JKR told us that the last word in the book was to be "scar"; however, the pictures that I have seen of the last word do NOT show it is "scar." Though, she may have changed it. Any thoughts?

Darkfrog their real, they are zip files and the person who uploaded them has THE BOOK... he takes the picture of the cover NO PHOTOSHOP or EDITING!! and the person proceeds to open the book and take a picture of each page one by one till the end....... No way its fake.........

And yes, as Xceptional has said, they're real. Unless someone has spent since s/he finished reading HBP until now, putting this together (which, isn't entirely impossible given that some people have absoultely zero life, but still very unlikely), then it's real. I've only read a few chapters of it, but it's pretty good, and I've only yet to spot one spelling error (which, there's usually one or two in the early versions of the books, anyway. So, this really can't be used to say it's fake) and the illustrations at the beginning of each chapter still have the same look to them as the previous books. So, in order for this to be fake, someone would have had to spend an unreasonable amount of time making these photos look real, be quite skilled at writing, and also be quite skilled at drawing (not to mention making the styles look the same as before). So, really, saying that they're fake now, is a really ignorant thing to do.

Yes, of course it would be illegal. Because of that, I don't want to post a direct link to it. But, let's just say, though, that it's not that difficult to find if you do some searches for it on google or a sharing file site.

I'm not scared, nor do I think I'll get in trouble. It being illegal to download (and yes, it's illegal. I believe it works the same way with music. If you don't own the CD yet, you can't download songs from said CD online. It doesn't matter if you intend to buy it later. Until you own the book/CD, downloading a free copy is illegal) isn't the only reason I'm not going to post a direct link to it. I know there's some people out there who actually want to wait the remaining few days, but some of these people have absolutely zero will power when it comes to the book, so I wouldn't want to ruin that for them. Just go to a file sharing site and look up the name of the book. It's not difficult.

People who post spoilers of book 7 are sad, seriously get a life losers. incidentally, people may be pleased to know that the suposed 'epilogue' is a fake (a person who's read the book has told me). However the chapter names are real.

I think it is faked, there are some problems on the title page (though that is all I have seen). There appears to be slightly too bright white line around the whole page, and you cannot see the colored page that always comes before the list of other HP books.

the quality is horrible, the pages are slanted, and the resolution is horrible from what i've heard

Just because you've NOT been caught, doesn't mean you CAN'T get caught. That's a very naive attitude to take. I've not been caught, yet I know people who have. Grow up. It might not be illegal to post the link, but downloading it is most definately illegal.

Please learn the proper definition of words before you start tossing the insults. Also, if you'd read anything I posted, you'd know that I don't want to ruin the wait for people who don't want to read the book in advance (and yes, there are some people who don't want to). Because of the fact that some of these people cannot control themselves when a link is posted, and go to it, I'm no going to post a direct link. I'll say it again: I don't want to ruin it for the people who don't have the willpower to stop themselves from clicking links concerning the books. -- I've given you the directions to find it. Ahahahaha! I figured it out. The guy printed out the front-back cover version of DH and then taped it on a different book. Notice that the edges are showing on the 4th and 5th pictures. Note that if it was a cover jacket, it would only extend one inch or so from the edge while this fake jacket almost extends to the binding. Also, what's up with the back edge. Why is it gray? The book on which the fake cover is put on is Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. Jo and Scholastic found that out and sued whoever posted them on some webpage. After using the magnifier glass,you can clearly see that the back of the front cover is actually the DH front cover where Harry is reaching for the sky. The spoiler guy used PS or Sorcerer's Stone (if you prefer) because it has approximately the same tones. In conclusion,this is FAKE. Bravo,spoiler guy but next time,don't use tape. And yes, the website is still up with the spoilers that (I think) you are talking about. Check yahoo news.

darkfrog -- If you're using limewire, I'm pretty sure that there's some weird notepad thing out there concerning HP7. What you need to do, is go to an actual file sharing site (like piratebay.org, or there's others) and download it off of there. Those files are to be opened with any image-viewing program, and not something like Word. If the file is a zip, then you'll need to unzip it of course. If you don't have a program to do that, there's some off the web you can download for free (or a free trial) if you just do a google search for such a thing. I believe one is Winzip. They've got a 30 day trial, if I remember correctly.

The lost word on the scanned book is not "death." That much I know. I doubt that the notepad version is real. If you had the book, why wouldn't you take pictures of it?
