ok so the only real way to know real spoilers would be to have read the book and so for those people who claim to have read the book why would you waste your time on a site like this? there is not point so i highly doubt that anybody on this site who claims their spoilers are real have read the book

This is what I think. I think the pictures of the Epilogue is fake. Simply because it doesn't sound like JKR, and it's very, very short, only about four pages or so, and it only tells us about a handful of characters, I think the real epilogue is going to be longer and will go into detail about everyone, including secondary characters like Seamus and Dean Thomas. However, there are scans of the following pages: 56, 57, 72, 73, 78, 79, 138-9, 162-3, 366-7, 398-9, 426-7, 476 that reveal 3 death, and injury that look authentic

What about the video though? The video looked really genuine, and there has been virtually nobody or hype about it! It's even been taken down on YouTube! They show the book and reveal spoilers. Is this fake or real? It looked real and I wish I hadn't seen ANYTHING of it!

Unfortunately some things have been spoiled for me thanks to ComcastNews I thought it was an article on spoilers turns out it was a link to the spoilers luckily I didn't read all of it but it was right in my face so its really bothering me right now!!!

yeah Cheesecake became the ruler of the world, and all the little cheesecakes looked up to King Cheesecake and followed in his heroic strawberry footsteps. thats what happens in the epilogue! whoah! i never saw that coming!

I saw some of these supposed "spoilers" on deviantart today and I was sent some random wall post on facebook with the exact same thing. IMO, these spoilers are a load of bull****. Just some bored a-hole with too much time on their hands.

But ignore the pics for one second. There was a VIDEO with guys with blurry faces and actually HOLDING the book cover and filming the copyright. Then revealing a series of, what sounded like, very genuine spoilers. Is this real or fake? I wonder why this hasn't entered the radar yet! It's already been removed from YouTube!

1. This supoena does nothing to tell us whether the spoilers were real or fake. A copyright infringment has to do with the public use of owned canon without the owner's permission. In this case, the use and abuse of Harry Potter story and characters without J.K. Rowling's permission. It could mean her story was taken and released before the allowed date. It could also mean someone took their own version of things and gave it to the public as Jo's work, which it was not. Either ay, what they did was against the law, and actions against them don't tell us whether what was posted was actually from Deathly Hallows or not. 2. However, if they are spoilers, while it is up to the fans to decide for themselves whether they like each book or not, it is not for us to proclaim what Jo's "style" is. I'm sorry you're dissapointed. What little I saw sparked my interest. I will say I will be slightly displeased if the epilogue is real, but this is because *POSSIBLE SPOILER*I've never been a fan of flash-foward "reflections on life" at the end of books/movies*END POSSIBLE SPOILER* If Jo put it in, she liked it, and all the more to her for it. Opinions make the world go 'round and with a book this huge, some will be let down and angry. It's sad, but it's a fact of life. 3. "Just don't go on those sites" is not a valid argument. Gaia Online itself, for example, has nothing to do with Harry Potter (to the best of my knowledge) The spoilers can show up anywhere and everywhere without knowing, through unmoderated posting, by way of hacker, or in any avatar or comment simply by someone wanting to be a jerk. To be completely safe, someone would have to avoid the internet and mass media alltogether, and forcing them into that position because someone else was selfish and attention-starved is highly unfair. 4. That said, while I understand some of you happened to find the book's biggest secrets just as you were scanning down a page, perhaps by having a death announced in bold print...

I don't know why you all find it so hard to believe that there can be real spoilers out the web considering OotP was ruined for me a WEEK before it even came out via pictures of the page where Snape killed Dumbledore

Why does somepeople do such thingss?! - I don't get it! I've not read it, I don't want to read it, I hope it wasn't true, but it might have been since Scholastics went after them. The one who did that got what he deserved. I don't read anything which could be a spoiler for me, no matter how big the temptation might be. I agree with Potterfanatic37. People shouldn't read all these possible spoilers, because if we don't then the book will get all the glory it deserves, and no one will (hopefully) be disapointed.

Wow, some people can be so mean. I don't really think that those spoilers, pictures, and etc. were real, but it's still really mean to try and ruin the last book for hard core fans that have been with the series for years. It's just sad, really.

there was a thing in the paper.. bout a month ago.. it was saying that somebody had made a entire book up, which was deathly hallows, anyway it was entirely made up, and its probably the same book. some people like to get their fun out of making books up and posting them on the internet ana, i wouldnt worry bout them anyway
