The 'leaked' book looks genuine from the scanned pictures so the spoilers from this leak are genuine. I looked for this leaked book on the web for my sister whois a Potter nut to see if its genuine, so she could avoid any place where trolls will be looking to post spoilers. ie this place,youtube etc... Since the leak looks real she will be avoiding the internet until the book comes out. So i guess you potter fans better avoid places where spoilers are to be posted. At least one good thing has come of it, At least i can blacmail my sis for a couple of days since i know the spoilers. LOL

I really hate myself for what I just did. I read this article on CNN.com, where it links you to these sites which we're being considered as very prickly spoilers. I clicked on both of them. One didn't work, while the other really shocked me. I see there people already are discussing the same thing. I just hope, that even the spoiler himself wanted to make fun with the dead characters, playing with us, and then we'll see what's the truth about who lives and who dies. Damnit, why I read that thing? It's all my fault. And damnit, why they couldn't keep it more secure? However, I guess you're all living with another hope that you'll be reading the rest of the story, because it has so many questions to be answered, not just these deaths, damnit. i dont think he is bad. if you read where he kills dumbledore, the wording can go either way wheather dumbledore wanted to be killed or he didnt want to be killed. im trying to think of the past things that snape has done to harry such as making his broom effed up in TSS and teaching him occlumency to make a decision if hes bad or good.

I have been reading all of these comments, including jerkyhole's unfortunately, and I have to say, "PEOPLE IT IS ALL JUST PROPAGANDA"! I know that these scans look authentic and I know that JK an Scholastic are making comments against most of them. In the end though no of us truly know until 12:01am on 7-21. The fact is that whether these scans are true or not, do not let it spoil your experience. This is a joyous moment for all TRUE fans. We all knew that spoilers were possible, and unfortunately that people are going to try and ruin the fun. It is up to us to not allow it to affect us. I for one will be in line to get my book and I don't care if someone yells the entire plot out to me, I will still love the book. We have all been part of the biggest literary event in publishing history. Cherish that, it is a story we can tell our children and grandchildren. DO NOT fall into the trap of getting into a war of words with people like jerkyhole, they are ill-equipped to defend themselves anyway. Congratulations to all the true fans and the JK Rowling. Good for them! I hope the people who leaked this book are prosecuted, released after a much-deserved spell in prison, then tracked down by angry HP fans and visciously clubbed with Firebolt replicas. Never mind Voldy and the Death Eaters - we're at war with the spoilers!!! The only thing with this - as has been pointed out already - is that this is the last book: the publishers can no longer preserve the secrecy with the threat of witholding future HP releases from the distributors, because that threat no longer stands! Once the info is out there, the damage is done. No amount of legal procedures can undo that. I suppose we're just lucky that the majority of fans and fansites like Mugglenet refuse to be tempted and rise to the bait. It's like Harry says to Lucius Malfoy in the OotP movie (in the DOM) - we've waited 10 years ... I guess we can wait a little longer! *blasts the spoilers and runs away*

I have been reading all of this and I had to say a couple of things. 1. If you didn't want to know any spoilers you shouldn't be on here or pretty much anywhere online. Sadly, even standing in line at the book store, someone is GOING to blurt out the ending. I will bet money on it. Is it right. Heck NO! But they are going to do it because some people find that stuff funny. 2. Deep Discount did NOT intentionally mean for the books to arrive to people early. Some Yahoo didn't know any better and put them out. It was NOT intentional. No big company is that stupid! Plus the execs hit the roof when they found out. I do NOT want them to go out of business and lots of people to lose their jobs because of a mistake. Yeah..think of all the people who would lose out if they "lost everything" because some HP fans are mad other people got the book first. Besides they have great deals on DVDs and I buy from them all the time. 3. I highly doubt that somebody is going to write an entire book, get it printed, and bound, and then take pictures of it and put it online just to "fool" fans. A few pages..sure..but not a whole book. Plus the other "spoilers" are still up but the one keeps getting pulled down everywhere, which just lends credence to it's authenticity. 4. Libraries and book stores and distributors have had copies in their possession for more than a couple of days. So from 12 Million copies just in the USA I am sure that people got them more than a day ago. So the whole "they only had them for 2 days so they can't be true thing" is bogus. So no one is allowed to read faster than anyone else or it wouldn't be "fair" if they posted information before anyone else read it. Not to mention time zones. No one BETTER get it in another time zone first. Come on.

I can't even read the comments without getting this book spoiled for me. I'm so angry at myself for reading only but four sentences of the book. I am going to wait and I will make it my civil duty not to read anymore. My heart goes out to those who felt as if they should betray their own fandomness by reading the whole book. I don't know if I opened it that I would be able to stop reading, so I understand. I'm going to wait in line at midnight and read it when the time is true. To thesilentcat on the 200-250 page: I went over that "epilogue" with a fine-toothed comb and came up with 60 reasons to believe it's fake. This includes photoshop mistakes, grammatical errors, Americanized writing on some passages, mischaracterization, and "shifting" font. I also found all kinds of grammatical inconsitstencies and errors that neither Rowling nor her publisher would ever make, even on a first edition, which usually has typos they missed... I've been linking my report to people in the chats, look for me in there- I'm "Aria" in there, too. In terms of PS tells, it's brilliantly disguised, but it has little to no continuity.
