The US are giving us Aussies OotP like 2 months after them yet they expect to get December Boys on exactly the same day as us, talk about pathetic. It's SO unfair how their dominating the world, but that'll all change very soon, no offense to Americans, it's just that your film companies are being unfair plus your President's an idiot who enjoys killing people. He won't even quit the war in Irag, George Bush: "The United States of America will continue to send US troops into Bagdad until we have completely fixed the city." Yeah right! You filthy liar! By sending more troops into bagdad you'll just eliminate the city, talk about injustice and unfairness. But America's a great place! He does have pants on sony. Another scene connected to that showed Dan running on the beach in just shorty shorts. And the sex scene in DB is most probably just a tender love scene between Dan and teresa palmer. They're hoping for a PG 13 after all.

Awww. It was such a cute picture! Dan looked like he was having so much fun... as a kid his age should! Sledding down the sand on a piece of cardboard. Reminds me of when I was a kid and used to sled down a grassy (dry grass) hill on Cardboard (actually, there's a hill around the corner from me where kids do that now!).

oh, and I found the place where there are two pictures of that sandboarding scene. It's on the December Boys SkyBlog. I won't post the link here, though, and if WB sees this posting, they may want to contact the skyblog about copyrights, etc. It still looks like fun, though! Hopefully WB will change their mind and instead release a even better shot officially.

Anyway, I think that 'December BOys' already has a distributor, that's why they are quite protective of all these leakage of pics. Unlike other indie films which has to go to a festival to look for a distibutor, DB already has thatt. I heard that 'Village Roadshow' will be its distributor and that's affiliated with WB.

WB? So this means that WB bought the rights of this movie or what? I know Becker Films is producing DB...I don't understand!

DB is indeed produced by Becker Films Tina and that's an independent producer. It needs to have a distributor however so it can be shown in other places, not just Australia. I've heard that Village Roadshow will be the distributor, a company often associated with WB. THe Matrix trilogy for example was produced by both WB and Village Roadshow. I'm not really sure if WB will be a co distibutor but I doubt it. Dan would not want to be associated with a Potter company when he's trying to do a non HP film.

How can I not see the 'Warner Brothers' in the update part of this news item? If they are the ones who asked the pic to be removed, you can bet they will also be the distributor of DB. They have an arm that takes care of distributing independent films. I think it's called WB independent. Well, so much for Dan trying to get away from the Harry Potter image.

You can still see the picture on The December Boys SkyBlog and another one. I love doing that, though my friends and I normally use surfboards or something. I've done it on my stomach and it HURTS! But I'd love to do it on that thing they were using - so fun! I've never had the chance to do it on such a big slope either. I'm Melbournian, so their aren't that many sand slopes on St Kilda Beach (I was excited when I read a newspaper article mentioning Dan saw the New Year there!), but if you head out along the Great Ocean Road it's awesome! How come WB chooses what can and can't be up here with December Boys? It should be the Australian Film Corporation, not WB. It's not their film. It's a small independant Aussie film - they didn't regulate any of the other small Aussle movies, did they? Shows how greedy and stuck up the big guys in that industry are.
