What! We get the movie a month after most other people. Ah, well, worth the wait. Poor Sirius.

i agree with hp_maniac who commented on the very first page. the film was dissapointing. It was a very good movie if you hadnt read the book. It just didnt do justice to the book. Too much was changed and tried to be fit in to too small of a time frame. i understand that the movie can't be more than three hours long but they tried to fit the longest book into the shortest movie and too much was cut and unecessary things were changed. The thing that upset me the most was that they change the way that Sirius was killed. In the book he is hit by a stunning spell and falls through the veil, in the movie he is hit by a killing curse. Not really a HUGE deal, but it was an unecessary change that made no sense. They also cut Dobby and that was very upsetting. But im not going to rant on about how many changes they made because that would take all night and probably and entire page just to list what they changed. So to get back to the point of this comment, the movie was a good movie, but a big dissapointment. I would have liked it better if i had seen the movie before reading the book. Well i'm going to stop here because if I don't, I'll keep going until this already too long comment gets even more out of control.

Professor Trelawney broke into hysterical sobs during Divination and announced to the startled class, and a very disapproving Umbridge, that Harry was not going to suffer an early death after all, but would live to a ripe old age, become Minister of Magic, and have twelve children.
