More info from HBP filming in Lacock
More info from HBP filming in Lacock UPDATE: New photos have appeared on BuzzNet.com where you can see actors Michael Gambon (Dumbledore) and Dan Radcliffe (Harry Potter) on this set!

Our friends at Leaky have been receiving various reports from readers who have visited the on-location filming of Half-Blood Prince in Lacock:

Ettie writes that "the part I saw was the walk to, and entry into the house. They did about 6 takes. When I left they were shooting them leaving the house, and you could hear Slughorn's voice agreeing to take the job and demanding a pay rise. Inside the doorway I could see a white staircase and light blue walls. Michael Gambon was really nice and took a moment to walk over and speak to some of the children and parents watching the set. He asked if everyone was cold and said he was freezing. He was wearing the gray robes he has worn before in other Potter films. Daniel was wearing trainers, T shirt and jacket."

For more information from the set, click here. Filming continues through Saturday morning and we'll continue to bring you new information as we receive it. If you have any filming reports for us to post, please e-mail them to tips at staff dot mugglenet dot com!

Top 10! It looks so cool. =D I can't wait!

Posted by emmabonniefan17 Oct 26th 2007

Oh wow that sounds so cool. I am so happy they are including that part in the movie, cos that's one of my favourite scenes in HBP. I can't wait for more pics from the set and movie. I am especially excited about Decemeber when Emma starts to film. I hope they include the part where Dumbledore and Slughorn are back to back cleaning up the mess. I love that line i want a payrise Dumbledore, yes it sounds awesome. Does anyone know when Bonnie Wright is going to film her parts? I want to know since i am a big fan of Emma Watson and Bonnie Wright.

Posted by HPgeek4LIFE Oct 26th 2007

do you think its harder on michael gambon to play dumblydore now that he knows hes gay? i know he wont change the characters actions, but i think it would be loads harder to play him... w/e.

Posted by twilighttrishh Oct 26th 2007

That is soooo cool! I love it that we're finnally getting so much HBP news already!!! it's awesome. I bet Dan and Michael did a wonderful job on set yesterday/today (i dont' really remember what day they filmed). but anyways... YAY! MuggleCast comes out todayy or tomorrrow! i really can't wait, i missed those guys. Top 20 i hope?

Posted by HpAlwaysN4ever Oct 26th 2007

That is so cool! I wish I could watch filming. Top 20 :)

Posted by MissMalfoy Oct 26th 2007

Posted by muggle_magic Oct 26th 2007

Wow! To be that close to the actors and the set and to actually get to hear them performing! That is amazing! Really!

Posted by Magicalme4706 Oct 26th 2007

i am so happy they started filming woop woop.... and times like this i wish i lived in england with my cousins....sigh

Posted by muggle_magic Oct 26th 2007

Whoever keeps messing with the poll is getting on my last nerve! We get it already! You feel very strongly about your opinion so give it a rest already! Geez!

Posted by GinnyWPotter Oct 26th 2007

Amazing! I love Michael Gambon. I saw him as Falstaff in Henry IV at the National while I was studying abroad in London. Genius, that man. Keep the news coming, it really brightens my day :D

Posted by fanaticallyobsessed Oct 26th 2007

Bonnie Wright must be all psyched out. She has the biggest role among all the female actors in this one, although Emma comes at a close second. This film's gonna be fun, what with the Won-Won/Lav-Lav---'Mione- 'Mione triangle, briefly extended to a McGlaggen quadrilateral, and the guest appearance of the monster who takes up residence in Harry's chest.

Posted by emmabonniefan17 Oct 26th 2007

Yeah that is really amazing they are so lucky. I would be happier to be near the set when Emma and Bonnie are filming. I know Emma is soon, i can't wait for that. Does anyone know when Bonnie starts filming? I dont know he might look at it different filming it. I know that when i first found out DD was gay, i was suprised but i am reading ootp again, and right when i started reading the parts of Dumbledore again, it just felt the same for me,the powerful wise old wizard, i didnt even think about that he was gay.

Posted by i_am_nagini_777 Oct 26th 2007

i CANNOT WAIT 4 THIS MOVIE!!!!!!!

Posted by soccertreize07 Oct 26th 2007

OOOOOO...this is soooo exciting. it sucks we have to wait another year though :(

Posted by Merenwen_Lupin21 Oct 26th 2007

*whimper* i miss Richard Harris!!! He was the best Dumbledore....I suppose Michael Gambon will have to do since Ian Mckellen turned it down...well I can't wait to see it anyway! HBP is my2nd fave HP book, so I hope they do it's justice. How do become an extra?!?!!!

Posted by emmabonniefan17 Oct 26th 2007

Awwwwwwwwww yes Richard Harris was way more the better Dumbledore. When i saw Richard as Dumbledore, it felt like i was watching the Dumbledore, i was reading about come to life on screen. He was so good as Dumbledore, i am a little used to Michael Gambon as DD but it still doesn't feel all the same. The reason being cause i pictured DD always with a calm voice like Richard, and not a rough voice like Michael. Yeah it does suck we have another year to wait til it comes out,but it sounds exciting of the parts that are filming, it sounds worth it. I know when my first favourite person Emma Watson starts filming, does anyone know when Bonnie does?

Posted by Grnd3lW4Ld Oct 26th 2007

I hope if they cut one thing from hbp, it will be the harry-ginny relationship. It will just be done terribly and its not worth it.

Posted by Grnd3lW4Ld Oct 26th 2007

Oh and on a side note its good Michael Gambon is a nice guy because hes a terrible dumbledore.

Posted by HPfanx14 Oct 26th 2007

awesome im soo excited for the movie! any cheesecakians here?

Posted by Grnd3lW4Ld Oct 26th 2007

DID YOU PUT YUR NAME IN THAT GOBLET OF FIER?!?!?!?!

Posted by emmabonniefan17 Oct 26th 2007

Hey i want that in HBP it is worth it. I want all the parts with Emma and Bonnie in HBP,hence my name they are my 2 favourite actresses.

Posted by HPfanx14 Oct 26th 2007

ha, are you tlkin to me grindwald. and by the way i agree with you about the guy who plays dumbledore is terrible. but i wanna see the whole ginny/harry thing in the movie, even if they do play it kinda bad. lol

Posted by Grnd3lW4Ld Oct 26th 2007

At least I dont think its worth it because it was awkward enough in the books, dan didnt seem to good with romance scenes in ootp, plus people who havent read will wonder wtf is going on because all the sudden harry and ginny will just be making out. Its harder to display feelings like a crush on film then on paper so it doesnt look silly. It was great in the books, but they have enough things to mess up in hbp without it, I think there are more important things they could put in.

Posted by emmabonniefan17 Oct 26th 2007

Yeah but they have to give Emma and Bonnie a lot in HBP. I dont want it to be just a Dan-Harry fest, they have to include the gorgeous Emma and Bonnie.

Posted by HPfanx14 Oct 26th 2007

ha, yah. dan isnt the greatest romanctic actor, deffinitally. and yah cuz harry always does keep him feelings to himself. it would be kinda hard to show that he likes her, idk. i just hope the movie altogether is good. i hate it when they leave the important things out

Posted by Grnd3lW4Ld Oct 26th 2007

Thats fine. I just hope they will redeem themselves after the mediocre mess that was poa. LOL I was kind of talking to myself there HP :p

Posted by HPfanx14 Oct 26th 2007

i think bonnie is pretty, but i dont really like the short bangs thing. have they grown out yet?

Posted by Grnd3lW4Ld Oct 26th 2007

Me too, there fun to watch in the action scenes but I usually dont like the rest.

Posted by rob1007 Oct 26th 2007

cheesecakians?

Posted by MissMalfoy Oct 26th 2007

POA is one of my favourite Harry Potter movies. First would be OOTP, then POA and then PS....but thats just my opinion lol

Posted by HPfanx14 Oct 26th 2007

its cool. and wht do you mean when you say the mediocre mess in POA?

Posted by Grnd3lW4Ld Oct 26th 2007

ah its my least favorite! I hated the whole feel of it it was like halloweenish or something...And the talking heads...well I could rant on that for an hour... My top 3 are the 1st, 2nd and 5th in that order. Original dumbly ftw.

Posted by HPfanx14 Oct 26th 2007

hmm. i deffinatly like the first two the best becuz they were most like the book. then the rest were all equal. i cant really say i hated any of the movies. and hey missmalfoy,! kim isnt it?

Posted by Grnd3lW4Ld Oct 26th 2007

I was just joking there. It wasn't terrible, just not my favorite

Posted by MissMalfoy Oct 26th 2007

The first one was amazing...its like classic...and POA was amazing, with the whole sirius thing and the Hermione kicking Draco's ass and i thought it was great. I also like COS coz of the whole Tom Riddle thing hehe and GOF was amazing, the Triwizard Tournament was amazing, especially the graveyard scene. But OOTP is my favourite so far i think because of the DA and the whole fight between them and the Death eaters and also because of Luna and Neville. Umbridge makes me sick though urgh can you believe she slapped Harry, the B%$£* !!! lol

Posted by Grnd3lW4Ld Oct 26th 2007

lol, I know. I wanted to stand up and just yell at her. but I figured it wasnt worth getting kicked out Of the theater :( My favorite ever scene in hp is the battle at the ministry, except that everyone was flying...cool and all but it could have been an even more epic win

Posted by HPfanx14 Oct 26th 2007

yah. i thought the fighting scene at the end of the movie with the death eaters and the order was awesome. i really hope there some quidditch in this next moviee.

Posted by emmabonniefan17 Oct 26th 2007

Yeah well OOTP and POA are my 2 faves so far, books too and DH is my 3rd fave HP book. Emma and Bonnie better be in HBP a lot.

Posted by lilbecky8 Oct 26th 2007

hiya peoples!!

Posted by lilbecky8 Oct 26th 2007

My fav books are POA, HBP, and DH. My fav movie is prolly OOTP. I am so glad they included the Twins departure becuz i absolutely LOVE that part in the book!!!

Posted by Grnd3lW4Ld Oct 26th 2007

I think michael Gambon would make a suitable Gandalf If they do The hobbit as a movie. Wise and old, but not much compassion. A more powerful kind of figure

Posted by lilbecky8 Oct 26th 2007

i agree with you Grndwld, I think Gambon would make a good Gandolf. I miss Richard Harris as DD, he just played the character a bit more like the way i imagined him.

Posted by MissMalfoy Oct 26th 2007

Richard Harris WAS Dumbledore, i wish he could still be in the movies, he was just like how i imagined Dumbledore to be in the books. Oh well..... Michael Gambon is not the ideal Dumbledore, but he'll have to do.
