you guys --- i've had such a horrible day...i started crying as soon i got to my room and for an hour now...i feel awful...D;

spew...well...i had math first period..and found out that i'm failing! D:...and i've never gotten such a bad grade before...i'm usually a straight a student...and now i might be kicked outta the magnet program...i'm just so tired of everyone mooching on me...and so stressed...it was so hard to keep this to myself...i couldn't even tell any of my friends and wanted to cry all day...but i told myself not to...you guys honestly don't know how glad i am to have you guys...i know it might not sound like a big deal...but i was just shocked...because i've never been in this position..and my parents will kill me if i have a d or c on reprot card...which comes out in 2 weeks! and i dont' know if i can bring it up....i't just been hard...but crying is good for you help sometimes right? ;(

Oh honey! I know how you feel. It's so hard always getting As and running into a class you're lost in and feeling that pressure to keep it up or else! I know - I've been there. I'm really sorry for you. Any time I can help, just ask.

ah don't worry honey, i remember i was in all these honor classes and failed all of them except 2 classes. i made like 40's in every class, i was so depressed. i made 40's in math class too which is like weird for me. but then the next yr. i picked my grades up and now i moved back into those honor classes. and now i'm making a's and b's. u'll get ur grades up. just study more or something thats wat i did i stopped slacking off.

thanks so much spew...i mean, today just draaged on..and i didn't know what to do..thank you for your sympathy...i really reallly appreciate it...the thing is my math teacher is new...and the worst i've ever had...but i'm just praying that i can get it up to a passing grade...i really am glad i have you guys!

Oh honey, I'm sorry! That stinks! But don't think that you can't bring it up in time; in 8th grade I had a failing grade as well, and I brought it up to just barely a C! (An 84 point something...) So that was just a bitty half-point off, I'm sure you can go above and beyond! It's definitely possible! Just get excellent grades on all of your next tests, do your homework, and look into some EC options if your teacher offers them. It IS possible to bring your grade up! Trust me!

ooh my sister's in that position right now - her Algebra 2 teacher got cancer :( and their long-term sub is fresh out of college and really hard to understand . . . I'll pray for you too. Talk to your teacher about extra credit.

In my school, 93 - 100 is an A, 85 - 92 is a B, 77 - 84 is a C, 70 - 76 is a D, and 69 and below is an F. Just make sure you get really good marks on your next tests honey, that brought my average up TONS!

wow. where do you live acid? well...i know that there'll be at least 2 more tests before report cards...do you think that could bring it up to passing? or at least...7 or more points? ...aughg...i'm such a freak about my grades...so i'm so worrieed...*bites nails..*

wow ours is way diff. here an 84 is a really good B!! thats how my dad's grades where graded when he was in school. huh. interesting. hmm. hmph. ah. well. weird. okay, no prob honay. just like make a distraction by i don't know throwing a peice of chalk at someone's face then peek at the key right b4 the test. jk no don't do that! thats cheating.

here an A is 90-100, B is 80-89, C is 70-79, D is 60-69, and F is 0-59. I believe that's standard in the US, but in Europe it's tougher. I thought you were in the US acid? What kind of school do you go to? -- Don't worry honey - I'm a freak about grades too (although I don't bite my nails ; )

:) No probs, I'm a total grade-freak too! If it helps, I got an 80 on a vocab quiz (which is a C here, remember!), but my friend came in saying he got a 39 on a test!! That sure made me feel better! :D Wow SPEW, that sounds SOOOOO NICE!! I wish we had that grading system.... *Wistful* I've had the same system since elementary school, though. I am in the US SPEW... I guess I'm just weird!!!! :P
