lol I agree Hermione_G_Weasley... when Jo revealed that he was gay I was surprised, but didn't think it was a really big deal. I never expected it to get so much attention from the media and HP actors. All the "hub-bub" (lol) getting kinda old, truthfully.

I can only applaud for Dan broadening his actorscarriere by doing thing very opposite from Harry Potter, but is " My Boy Jacck" not basicly the story of Rudyard Kipling and thereby David Haig and not Daniel Radcliffe the leading actor, as Richard Griffiths carried the mainload of Equus? He did not seemed to be very much at ease during this intervieuw. The last intervieuw I saw was with Jonathan Ross and the both were competing who had the most fun during the sitting. This was however a rather tense Radcliffe.

Just so you know that maybe the reason he seemed a bit more nervous is that in the UK Parkinson is a very well respected prime time chat show with a massive history dating back decades whereas johnathan ross is a bit more late night, have a laugh, not so serious and good fun. Personally i prefer johnathan ross to parkinson but its his last ever season as Michael parkinson is going to retire this year so more ppl are watching it. Related-ish - My boy jack seems like a good show from the clips, i wasn't planning on watching but i might sky+ it now and watch it sometime. I don't really know the story (except that he dies as dan said it in the interview) but it seems quite a moving story about a terrifying idea - you've watched friends die, you've seen horrific sights coming from 'going over the top' and now - its your turn... crumbs! ALL UK HP FANS - GO BUY A POPPY FOR REMEMBERANCE DAY 11th NOV - It shows you remember and thank a generation of young men who died for peace.

I thought Dan was quite well-spoken in the interview. He has really grown since the first interviews for The Sorcerer's Stone (though I loved how he said he has still retained some of the hyperactiveness!). I thought My Boy Jack looked really good, and from that clip he did very well.

Of course he was going to ask about Dumbledore being gay, its recent news and most 'casual' fans would be expecting him to. It doesn't mean its a big deal. French and Saunders were on after him, very funny :)
