have you seen V for Vendetta Acid? That movie (based on a graphic novel) is based off a real events. On Nov 5 1607 Guy Fawkes was found in the "basement" of Parliment with barrels of explosives. He was attempting to blow parliment, and was arrested and executed. But thats where the "Remember, Remember the fifth of November, The Gunpowder Treason and plot. I know no reason why gunpowder treason should ever be forgot." i am not sure why they celebrate it, but they have big bonfires and fireworks. on another note: Godd luck on your midterms!!!
