CBBC Newsround reviews Order of the Phoenix DVD
CBBC Newsround reviews Order of the Phoenix DVD Lizo over at CBBC Newsround has posted a review of the upcoming Order of the Phoenix DVD, which is scheduled for release tomorrow (November 12th) in the UK. He gives the DVD 3 out of 5 stars and writes this about his favorite parts:

Which are the best bits?

Seeing some of the behind the scenes stuff in the Tonks feature. The long version of the scene where Umbridge inspects Professor Trelawney's Divination lesson is great.

Fans who are particularly into the books will enjoy the Secrets of Harry Potter documentary, although now those that have read Deathly Hallows will have had a lot of their questions already answered.

Fans who are more into the films will enjoy the editing feature where they can try putting together a scene in the Room of Requirement.

Anyone looking to purchase it in the United States will have to wait until, very unfortunately, December 11th. Thanks to Ukean34 and Lisa for the tip!

Augh, I can't wait for the DVD. The fifth movie was my favorite after the third.

Posted by KalKat Nov 11th 2007

I really wish it would come out here tomorrow, as well. Why do we have to wait so long? *sigh* Oh well. But that Tonk's bit sounds really interesting, and I can only hope that the Trelawney/Umbridge scene is as good as this person makes it out to be. =]

Wow that sounds so awesome, unfortunatly i have to wait another month to get cause i live in the states. Does anyone know if Bonnie Wright is going to be on any of the special features? I really hope she is,i would love to see the glimpse of the HBP movie. It is about time England got something of HP before America though, since HP is from England. I will be waiting for the day when the dvd is out here. I am also waiting for the pics of the dvd launch cause i want to see new Bonnie pics. I did see a new interview video with Bonnie yesterday on the set it was awesome,Bonnie looks beautiful as she always does and always is. Bonnie Wright is the best, she rocks 4ever.

I am so jealous of the UK right now.

Posted by whitebumblebee Nov 11th 2007

screw waiting for it, i'm getting it off ebay tomorrow....why wait when you don't have to? you know it's going to be for sale on there....i'm excited!!!!

Posted by rooon Nov 11th 2007

I love HP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

Posted by rooon Nov 11th 2007

my lucky #........................ ... 23!

Posted by Heather25x Nov 11th 2007

I suppose you get it a month later because you get the books the same date as the UK, and you got the film earlier, so it's just kind of like...fair? I don't know, it's a shame you have to wait so long =[

Posted by lunalovegoodlover Nov 11th 2007

i'm so disappointed! well, for one, i won't get it until december. also, this dvd doesn't have as good behind the scenes as the others. like GoF had FABULOUS behind the scenes stuff. i really like actor interviews and jkr interviews and director and producer and special effects interviews, which they don't seem to have on this disc. does anyone know if they do? maybe i've just been interpreting what mugglenet has been reporting wrong. do you remember the three tasks on the GoF disc? they were great! every single thing was explained and it was really expansive and wonderful. its really too bad they aren't doing that again!

Posted by emmabonniefan17 Nov 11th 2007

Yeah i think it is fair for the UK to get it earlier, cause they usually get the movies later when they come out in theaters. It would be cool to have it soon, but i will have to be patient and wait. I understand it cause when OOTP came out in the theaters this year the UK was supposed to get to see it before america, and then WB pushed the American release a couple days ahead to come out on July 11th. I thought wasn't fair to the UK. I wanted to know if anyone knew if Bonnie Wright will be on any of the bonus features for OOTP?

Posted by ctyizen Nov 11th 2007

Now I'm even more excited! I'm getting the 12 disk gift box set on saturday...for FREE! I'm so excited!!! must calm down...*deep breath*

Posted by emmabonniefan17 Nov 11th 2007

Wow that's really cool that you're getting the 12 disc set. How in the world are getting the whole set for free? I really can't wait for it to come out in the states. It's a shame really that i have to wait a whole month to get it.

Posted by Jo_H Nov 11th 2007

"Anyone looking to purchase it in the United States will have to wait until, very unfortunately, December 11th" You didn't say "unfortunatly" when the US got the GOF DVD 1 month before the UK, urgh.

Posted by the_Last_Potter Nov 11th 2007

Brilliant! I can't wait to buy it! Goblet of Fire is my favorite movie, but I still love this one. ♥

Posted by whizgal Nov 11th 2007

And what about other countries? when does it comes out in India?

Posted by emmabonniefan17 Nov 11th 2007

Does anyone know if Bonnie's going to be on the bonus features at all? Yeah i am glad the UK is getting it earlier for once, since HP is from England. Yeah but what's the point of getting it off ebay if you can't watch the England version in the US. I wish i lived in England that would be awesome.

Posted by LilyFan564 Nov 11th 2007

I have to wait till December to get it! :( Anyways, I can't wait to see all the deleted scenes!!

Posted by KaitlinM Nov 11th 2007

at least its coming out here around christmas season. and ur rite about ebay and/or amazon, it shouldnt be difficult at all. the uk gets most movies a couple of months after the U.S., so im willing to through them this bone, lol, although im curious why it is the case

Posted by Madmoggie Nov 11th 2007

i'm soooo happy that the UK have it!! i mean to sound nasty or anything but america does get everything before anyone from trainers to movies even to series or programs on tv. Go UK and Harry Potter!!!!!!!

Posted by K8y Nov 11th 2007

I am jealous of the Brits. Oh so jealous.

Posted by Padfoot777 Nov 11th 2007

Kvertha Fricaia and Vinr Alfakyn, I wish we got the movie the same time as every else. On the Snitch they had a clip from the special features with Tonks, it is funny. I like the movie and it was MUCH better book like wise than Goblet of Fire. Luck (those that live where the movie is coming out tomorrow)! Ah, well, Eka fricai un Shur'tugal. Se' onr sverdar sitja hvass.

Posted by iwantorlando05 Nov 11th 2007

I'm still pissed off that they're putting all the cast interviews and commentary and bloopers on the blu-ray and HD DVD versions. I'm soooooo pissed off about that. I mean seriously why can't they just put the same shhh on ALL the dvds?

Posted by BlueOwlfire Nov 11th 2007

Well if they put everything on all DVD formats they wouldn't make as much its a peek if you have Hd or blueray thank god I've got hd
