OMG THEY KEPT IN ROMILDA VANE. And Lavender, which means Hermione IS sending canaries, and they kept Dean Thomas and Ginny dating, and Draco still totally kick Harry's ass. This is going to be an amazing movie, I can't ask for anything more. lol :)

People, get over the Hermione simpering bit. iMean, it could very well be an unfortunate choice of words. And you can bet that Emma Watson will do anything but simper. iThink the description sounds awesome. And though, as someone commented earlier, they've apparently cut some important bits ... iReally don't mind that much. Give the guys a break. iAm happy that the movie looks to be a fun watch ... if you want a million-hour-true-to-each -word-of-the-book experience ... read the book!!!

Ah, I like it. To continue with the trend of hair talk, his hair is tons better. What I like is the fact that is facial expression is softer and less angst-ridden/intense as in Order. This is my favourite book, I'm hoping it'll be my favourite movie (though PoA will be hard to beat). Looks great! :D

Looking at it again, they MUST have meant "simmer", not "simper". Who could EVER have read the book and thought Hermione "simpers"? Besides, "simpering with jealousy" doesn't even make sense. This wouldn't resolve the whole HP-as-a-soap-opera rubbish WB seems to be going for, but it would certainly help.

i think hermione did simper a bit in the book, she made birds attack ron for god's sake! lol. and i do think that aside from the whole looking into the pensieve/stalking draco/hbp thing, the book was a bit 'chick flick'ish.

Like I said earlier, The book looks WAY too thin to be the potions book...look at the Cover Art for HBP Adult Version. THATS what it should look like. And it will be PG-13 for a reason. It will be the parents responsibility to let their kids go or not. COMMON SENSE

Dan looks younger than in the last movie. Its probably because his hair is shorter. If that is the Half Blood Prince's book in his hand, its a lot smaller than i imagined it. I really hope that they include a lot of good stuf in this movie, but i already know that they are having Quidditch, which is like my favorite aspect of Harry Potter

Meh. It's just Harry, sorry, DAN standing in a doorway. Big deal..... Mwahahaha!!!! I hope they show him turning into a cocky bastard with the HBP book and totally obsessing over Draco's whereabouts (hence the Marauders' Map. Wonder if we'll see the Marauders' names again so that maybe they could have the chance of spelling 'Moony' correctly!) I can't be the only one hoping David Yates does a better job with HBP. Ootp wasn't treated very well. I mean, like you make the longest book the shortest movie... So much that I love about Ootp was completely lost in the movie. All the Prophecy stuff, the DD office scene where Harry smashes it up and DD cries, which are the best parts Jo ever wrote (until DH where Harry's going to his death), were simply non-existent in the movie. They couldn't even fit in the whole Prophecy (here's hoping we hear it in HBP). Sirius's death was CRAP. They cut the duel with him and Bella, it plays more like she AK's him out of nowhere and makes him look bad. Voldemort was poor too. He should have had more lines.

The description sounds great and it seems like their keeping the most important stuff in the movie. And Romilda Vane is in the movie!! WHOOOOOOOO!!! She was awesome character...can't wait to see the movie. It seems like HBP isn't going to be nearly as dark as OotP. That's good becuase the last movie was way to grim. They cut all the fun stuff from the book. And DH is going to be as dark as it get's so it'll be nice to see a lighter movie before the finale.

does it bother anyone else that the characters never seem to wear robes anymore? I was under the impression that wizards wore robes at all times, hence the old wizard in book 4 thinking that men could wear nightgowns. But since movie 3 they only seem to wear robes during class. Idk, it just makes it seem less magical to me.
