Eeeeewwwww Daniel Radcliffe is SO ugly now. He was really cute in SS, alright in COS, really hot in POA, but ever since then, he is gross. I don't understand how people think he is good looking nowadays. I'm sorry, but even though I got used to his hair in GOF, cutting it short just shows his face too much, and how can his hair be messy if it's short?

The very first thing i though was oh my god NOOOOO!!! I loved daniel's hair in the fourth movie and that looks horrible. NO NO NO NOOOOO!

i dont know why everyone is so shocked with his hair...the other day when they posted the pic of his standin the guys hair was short so it should have been obvious that dans hair was going to be short. stand ins always have the same hair as the actors the stand in for remember that ppl

but i must agree that i liked him better with longer hair but gof his hair was too long for me. i guess we were just all used to the hair from chamber i think that was the best but they are trying to make him look his age i guess blah grow it back man this sucks...we complained with the poa hair then the gof hair so obviously we need an in between and this ootp doesnt fit in that lol

*cringe* I have always thought Daniel was hot, and I liked his hair best in PoA, and his hair was ok in GoF, but they cut it waaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyytoo short 4 this movie, and even though I think it looks a tad dodgy, I still think Dan's as dreamy as ever.

Petunia would be glad, Harry finally managed to control his hair. Now seriously, what on earth has he done to his hair? Harry's hair is supposed to be rebel and with a bit long fringe to cover the scar( although that is no longer necessary as he doesn't have it anymore!). Personally, I think that the best hair was the third film one.

It looks fine. Long hair dates the movies to a specific era. These movies with the differing styles will allow them to be enjoyed forever.

Oh gosh, they're changing his hairstyle AGAIN? I kind of wish they'd just stick to either of the hairstyles from the 2nd and 3rd movie. In my opinion, those were the best ones. The style in GOF was okay but a bit on the long side. Let's just hope that it's just this picture and the angle and wind or whatever it is... I don't particularly like the look of it already...

I think people are making too big of a deal about the haircut. As long as the story is close enough and they don't kill Harry off or something ridiculous like that, why worry about it? WB hasn't let us down before...

I don't know... I acually kind of like it. But I like shorter hair. It looks superbad in that picture, but in the commercial for the queen, it looks half-way decent. Nice poster, I suppose though. It looks a little fake and photoshoped, but that's me.

I just pray it's better than the PoA movie. Well, hitting 'record' on a camrecorder and dropping it out of a ten story window and letting it hit the sidewalk would be a better movie than PoA.

I think the general consensus here is that Dan's greatest hair moment was in Prisoner of Azkaban. If only Warner Brothers could see this and find a happy medium between this new near-buzzcut for Order of the Phoenix and the slightly painful long tresses of Goblet of Fire.

Ok I know I've posted twice already but I just can't not say this since so many of you think that he doesn't look like Harry now with cut. Harry Potter is described as having "Messy" hair not "Long" hair. The long nasty nappy hair he had in GoF was not complying with canon potter verse. Now from what I can tell from the current picture it might be a little too short but what he had in GoF was not Harry either. So stop Complaining everyone!!!!

I agree with PadFootBaby and Kim! I thought the long hair was stupid at first but this is just horrible! ANd it DOES look like he is trying for Draco's hair in the first two movies!! It's all shiny on the sides, ew! PoA was the best as far as Harry's hair goes (that's all that was the best in PoA...)

I know I just posted, but I looked again at the image, and you know, his scar IS gone! 'Course, it could just be the lighting... ANd I take back what I said about him looking like Draco, he looks almost exactly like someone else...TOM RIDDLE (in CoS).

WHY?! did they have to cut his hair? it was perfect before (in GOF) they could have just trimmed it, but why did they have to cut it all off? it looks fine on Dan i suppose, but it totally screws up our whole image of Harry. Also, besides the hair, in that picture you cant see his scar, and his lips are blue. i really hope they let his hair grow back, and this was just an accident!

I think his hair was too long in GoF; it was perfect in PoA (which I will say I think is the best movie so far at the risk of losing my fandom street cred; I don't like immediate write-offs of the movie). 2. Hair grows. This is an early promo shot. Check the GoF promos (especially 7/22 and others); didn't his hair look longer in the movie? Is it too obscured to tell? 3. Blue lips? By the same token, he has a green forehead and purple cheeks and neck. It looks more like color grading to me. 4. Let's not prejudge the movie by his hair length and scarless forehead on an *early promo shot* (see point 2). Don't many of you like GoF but not his shaggy mane? 5. We don't know who made the haircut decision--it could be Dan, a previous director, the current director.... Or, who knows? Maybe he got gum stuck in his hair and they had to do an emergency wadditomy. It seems like we're tending to jump to a lot of conclusions. 6. Books are different from movies. Some things that work in books don't work in movies. Case in point: Do we really want to see them all wearing wizarding hats? It's a filmographic nightmare. Strict canon is problematic; the feel of the book and characters is what needs the most faithfulness (not that details always hurt in this department). I hope I'm not being too disrespectful, or anything; I just think many people are ignoring quite a bit and going with immediate gut reactions.

I am glad to see a promo for OOTP, however, this one looks like a fake. And Dan's hair is, wow. Different. I have to say, I didn't like it in GOF, though I do not like it now. I think a happy medium would work just perfect. His hair in this promo poster does look, as many of you have stated, like Draco Malfoy's. Which is wrong. Though, the hair in GOF looked like an 80's style. So, find something in between for the boy. ~*Mrs.WeasleyTwin.
