Oh, snap!:)
Thanks sooooo much!
OMG!!!!I just finished seeing it....AWSOME!!!! it might sounds corny but it really shows how hard and wonderful and unprecedented this whole phenomenon was for her....and it just makes me happy to think that I actually got to see her face to face in NY at Carnegie and that we shook hands!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!XD!!!! that always brings a smile to my face XD!!!!!
now i am finished.............i seriously need MUGGLECAST...........
its mean and wont let me wacht it :((((( waaaaaa * im cryin on the inside*
Wow, that was AMAZING! It made me want to reread the series for the 15th time (I'm not joking). I had no idea that Jo didn't/doesn't have a good relationship with her father. She really is my hero. She overcame so much adversity and depression, and I know what those are like. She truly is an amazing person, and I am so thankful for her wonderful books. They really have changed my life considerably. I wish I could tell this to Jo in person. She is my hero! Thanks for posting the video, MuggleNet!!!
omg u HAVE 2 wacht this evanna lynch danceing?? http://www.youtube.com/ watch?v=I75lgj4nwV0&NR=1 omg wow it was so amazing it tells u wo 2 look at so dont worry ull be able 2 tell!!! wacht it u WONT be sorry
I see that some people are saying that the ITV player doesn't work. The player they used takes a while to load completely. I've used it before, and you just have to have patience. I clicked the play button to get it going, and then once it was, I just paused it, and then let it load to 100% before watching it. I suggest that, that way nobody has to go through the irritation of it starting and stopping. I finished watching it about a half hour ago, and I thought it was great. It's so cool to see Jo just doing normal things at home, and then seeing her go on a private jet so she can do different events.
I am invigorated by the fact that at least the U.K. can present the serious, emotional aspects of the book instead of acting foolish in an attempt to appeal to children. Remember when the U.S. news station (Today's Show, was it), acted as if all Harry Potter fans were 5 year olds? Insulting.
i love it so far!!!
OMG - I have always loved Jo but I love her even more now that I know her story. The dementors always made me think of depression, and now she confirmed it. I always knew that Jo was down-to-earth, but she seems so much more human to me now that I know she has suffered from the same things that most of us do. She has really shown us that anything is possible - that you don't have to have had the perfect life to achieve great things. I admire her so much for all the challenges that she overcame and the lives that she has changed, mine included. Her books have helped me through so much...I don't even know where to begin. I LOVE YOU JO!!!!
Beautiful.
Just finished watching it... absolutely amazing, I've been reading h.p. since i was 11, still can't get over the fact that it's all over.... JO, IF BY THE TINIEST CHANCE THAT YOU'RE READING THIS, YOU ARE A TRULY AMAZING PERSON AND BRILLIANT WRITER!!!!!!!! THANKS FOR THESE GREAT YEARS.... and e/o else out there... watch the documentary, its really really really good
For those of you who can't watch it from the website, go to youtube and type in "J K Rowling a year in her life" and the documentary will come up. Enjoy!
Omg! That was great... only it took almost 2 hours to load/watch! Oh well, is was so worth it! Thanks again for posting that!
This by far exceeded my expectations. I just finished it and I feel that we as a fandom are so completely blessed. I feel so lucky that JKR was willing to share such a personal part of her life with all of us and that we got to get a real close look at the author that we all love. The documentary was handled with such care and I felt that it explored all aspects of her life beautifully. After seeing this I feel that JKR is not only an amazing author but a women whom should be respected and adored in her own right.
Thank you ITV!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!
I loved it! Jo is so awesome- she just seems like a person you'd like to be friends with!
It's really awesome, but where's MuggleCast??
It's really awesome, but where's MuggleCast??
ditto.
Wow, that was really amazing, interesting, and emotional. I don't feel like there was really too much information that I hadn't heard before, and yet I feel like I learned so much.
It was amazing, I feel so completely inspired by her. I don't know what else to say at the moment. I think Travis just said it best.
I just finished it and it was just absolutely brilliant. I have to admit that I cried a little bit which surprised me because I very rarely cry. But watching it made me feel something. It's as if it reached deep inside me and brushed the edge of my soul for a second. I can't really describe it.
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I love you all, that's amazing! Aaaaaw!
Lovely:) Only, the video's stopping every ten seconds or so. What I suggest is that you delete the sound and press play, minimize the tray and do something else while it plays from start to end. Then you can watch it fluently the second time. Well, don't need to if your PC plays it thouroughly!!
Jo! If you ever-ever-ever happen to read this - thank you!!! You are an incredible woman!
I downloaded the video to me computer via torrent; it is very good! Jo is like a goddess for me...
this is awsome I was almost sure I can never watch it and it took almost 5 hours to watch it(internet is very slow where I live) but it was worth it

Wow, I just finished watching it and I'm in tears. It's so amazing.
it wont go all the way through. once i get to a certain part it just restarts
So glad it's on the web now. I was all over youtube looking for it last night.
That was so nice and sad. if any cheesecakian is lurking out there please come out
If you are getting breaks in the video - click pause and wait for it to totally load, then hit play and watch it in its entirety. It may take a while, but it's less frustrating this way.
Brilliant.
