I'm not sure what to say about David Yates, UNFORTUNATELY I only got to watch it once. I say we wait to see how good HBP is before they decide on a new director, or before I set my opinion on Yates.

What the HECK! This is so cool/interesting/curious! I am really wondering about this. If JKR approves it then I am totally for it. It sounds really exciting. I think that some action midway through HBP was needed to keep the sense of danger constant. I reserve the right to hate it however. I found a "leaked scene" that matches this desciption that was posted a while back. If its true then I am already pumped. I think David Yates did a as good a job as possibe with OotP except in certain scenes * cough-Sirius' Death-cough* I am really excited that he is doing HBP and I definitely won't complain if he does DH. I really hope that DH is split by the way. I think it has tobe split to do it justice. Long live Harry Potter!

ALERT ALERT ALERT!!! I just had a totally weird thought about the Hallows, to be precise the Elder Wand. Grindelwald stole the want from Gregorovitch, and we know that Gregorowith shot a stunning spell AT Grindelwald in an effort to prevent him from stealing the wand but WHY wasn't Gregorovitch USING the Elder Wand at the time. WHY in the god's name would he keep his old wand when he was the Elder Wands's master. We know for sure was the master because Grindelwald became the master when he stole it. And you don't just leave the most powerful wand in the world lying in your workshop, especially not if you already told people that you had it (and he did) I am really bugged by this...
