HBP Mix: No Fiennes, McCrory Filming, Crew in Norway
HBP Mix: No Fiennes, McCrory Filming, Crew in Norway A few stories relating to the production of Half-Blood Prince have appeared online today.

- Ralph Fiennes, the actor who plays Lord Voldemort in the Potter films, has revealed in an interview with Ain't It Cool News that he won't be appearing in the sixth film. When asked about if he is signed for Deathly Hallows, he says "not yet."

- On ITV's This Morning, Damian Lewis (Helen McCrory's husband) revealed that Helen is filming her scenes as Narcissa Malfoy this week. Damian said she was "extremely excited" and is following blogs that are also excited.

- Lastly, a newspaper in Norway reports on some scenic filming being done in a small village called Bjorli. The crew is filming shots that will be used outside of the Hogwarts Express. With big thanks Karen, you can read a loose translation of the article at the link below.

As long as Fiennes shows back up for the 7th film(s), I'll be happy. I'm glad someone pointed out that the grown-up Voldemort isn't in Book 6. Hadn't read that book in a while.

Aww. I love Ralph Fiennes. He's a good actor. I've seen a buch of his movies. :(

I'm sure we'll see 11 year old Riddle at the orphanage and 17 year old Riddle in Slughorn's office. That might be it for Voldemort in HBP. No Ralph Fiennes, but maybe his little nephew Hero will be a good mini-Lord V.

This is getting to be utterly stupid. If they are cutting out all this, then what are they putting in the movie?! I don't even think i want to see this movie in theatres now, i'll probably just rent it.

Could someone refresh my memory about Hepziah Smith? I can't remember his signifigance to Riddle's story.

Hepziah Smith is who had the cup that Voldemort stole (remember the scene where Tom Riddle was working for Borgin and Burkes and went o visit Hepziah Smith to try to get her to sell some of her very valuable artifacts. She showed Tom the cup from Helga Hufflepuff and then he killed her and her house elf took the blame-they said he poisoned her i think. He took the cup to turn it into a horcrux.) I'm sorry they cut that scene from the movie. Has WB really released the information of the parts they cut out so far? Where is that aricle posted?

Well people don't freak out! Voldemort wasn't in the BOOK! And if there's one thing they don't need to be doing right now, it's adding scenes to the HBP movie. Especially ones that could completely alter the main plot, like if Harry met Voldemort again in HBP. He's not just a character you casually add in scenes with. This article was REALLY hard to understand ... "This Harry Potter-movie will be finished till Christmas." Does he mean they start filming the next one after Christmas ... ?
