1st? ok so a lot to say on this piece of info. #1 great! stupendous! and every other word that realates. #2 i think all of #1 because this way people are getting an opportunity to see it off first hand! honestly though i cant think of another reason than ITS HARRY POTTER, IF YOU LOVE SOME HP THEN ENOUGH SAID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! long live harry potter!

Posted by HarryAndThePotters Mar 21st 2008

AGES 6-14?!??!?!?!?!?!!?!?!?! Well, that's stupid. I think that most of the true fans are older than that. Bahumbug.

Posted by elphieweasley1 Mar 21st 2008

I'm signing my little sister up :P

Posted by slytherinprincess922 Mar 21st 2008

aww only 6 - 14 year olds. *tear* cant another magazine of done this contest? for the rest and majority of fans?!?!?!

Posted by alan_74 Mar 21st 2008

i wanna go, hehe

Posted by tiassa Mar 21st 2008

Awesome, and yet again for many reasons,I CAN'T GO!

Posted by Shakar Mar 21st 2008

I can easily go since I live there mwuahahaha! But awesome to know they're doing it here again!! Squee! Sucks that it's only from 6-14.

Posted by swingkat Mar 21st 2008

Lame! I wouldn't let a 6 year old watch POA let alone HBP.

Posted by HPFANTimothy Mar 21st 2008

Dang. I wish us living in Australia would get these kinds of opportunities... Lucky Americans. Still, my website, MuggleMix.com, is growing! :)

Posted by adri_ana_ Mar 21st 2008

Booo! I'm 21.

Posted by buddika Mar 21st 2008

booooo! Most fans are actually older since Harry Potter's been around for a long time. I don't think someone as young as 6 should see the movie. They can't even process it. LOL. I know that when I was younger like 11, I wasn't able to process much. haha. BOOOOO I'm 6 months over the limit.

Posted by IIaneII Mar 21st 2008

boo im not young enough T_T

Posted by Katharineee Mar 21st 2008

The age thingy's so young 'cause it's prodominently a kids magazine... I'm gussing. Empire should do something like this for 14+. And they should make it for the premiere in London so i can go =]

Posted by scantando8805 Mar 21st 2008

People are STUUUUPIIIIIDDDDD. The Original fans were areound 10 when the books came out 11 YEARS AGO!!!!! what does that make us now 20!!!!! Your target audience has been 10 for the past ten years. WB is just as stupid. "Oh we cant make a movie longer than 2.5 hours because all of the little kiddies cant sit through it". They just read an 800 PAGE BOOK. I think they've got a little more of an attention span than your giving them credit for. Oh yeah and lets not forget the first movie came out 7 years ago so again the little kiddie from then are grown now. A very disgruntled 19 year old who's loved the world Jo created since 99'.

I'll enter, but it would suck if a little six year old won. They won't even remember it when they get older

Posted by slugclubgirl77 Mar 21st 2008

thats so cool! i am enetering!!!

Posted by i_am_nagini_777 Mar 21st 2008

When I was 8, I loved Harry Potter for its value as a book series. So give younger kids more credit

Posted by LiraelDaniels Mar 21st 2008

I agree about the age thing, it should be a larger age. But think of the venue, Nickelodeon Magazine is mostly read by young teenagers, so it makes some sense. But also, isn't the premiere supposed to be in NYC this year? I thought they alternated years and it was in LA last year. Just wondering...

Posted by Emi_5 Mar 21st 2008

AHHHHHHH DUDE!!!! this is awesome but it sucks!!!!! i literally just turned 15!!!!

Posted by randomchat Mar 21st 2008

AW WTH? I just turned 15!

Posted by BubbleGumPinkHair1 Mar 21st 2008

Posted by rob1007 Mar 21st 2008

yes! im 11!!!!!! and mayny TRUE fans are ages 9, 10, 11, 12, and 13! though not many r 6,7, or 8 i might say!

Posted by rob1007 Mar 21st 2008

I ENTERED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YEAH!!! I BETTER WIN!

Posted by BigThunderMatt Mar 21st 2008

I am SO sick of these stupid contests being limited to young teens and kids. It's ridiculous! It's like they're trying to limit the market by saying "if you're not in this age group and you like Harry Potter as much as we think THIS age group does, you need to seek professional help."

Posted by HBP_HagridsBigPoop_ Mar 21st 2008

I wish I were younger. :( Oh, well. There's not much of a chance that I would've won anyway....

Posted by rob1007 Mar 21st 2008

people!!! there will be TONS of contests!! just wait! how do you think i feel when things say ONLY FOR 15 OR OLDER or something!

Posted by rbp11 Mar 21st 2008

Why are they offering to send a SIX-YEAR-OLD to a PG-13 movie???

Posted by i_am_nagini_777 Mar 21st 2008

Young teens do NOT read Nickelodeon Magazine. All it contains are booger jokes.

Posted by elainemarie Mar 21st 2008

Yay! Omg, I would DIE if I won!!!! Thank GOD I'm still 14 :)

Posted by nolovenoglory09 Mar 21st 2008

That sounds amazing...too bad I'm 16. oh well. Hopefully a mugglenet visitor will win.

Posted by sticky Mar 21st 2008

wow...shame i'm in england....they should do a competition here too hopefully...good luck to those who enter!! however these contests annoy me...its always for the younger teens...people from 16 upwards are not allowed to enter which i think it unfair...beign 16 myself lol, but also a lot of fans are older than 14...i believe there is a bigger fan base of over 14's than there are of under 14's....

Posted by xmugglecastismylifex Mar 21st 2008

YESSSS! Thank God I'm still 14! It really sucks that all the people who are over 14 can't go though, it's not fair at all. But there's no need to bash the people under 14, I mean, we're still fans too! It's not our fault we're younger! We can all enjoy Harry's world equally, there's no need for the whole, "little kids aren't REAL fans" thing. Really now...

Posted by kpotter24 Mar 21st 2008

Oh, my God. A 6-14 age range has got to be the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard of. I would enter that competition in a blubbering humdinger second if I weren't OVER THE AGE LIMIT! Stupid Nickelodeon. They are really on my bad side right now, with no new Avatar episodes coming out either.

Posted by Wizard4243 Mar 21st 2008

What are they thinking 6-14 how unfair and shall i say rude. For them to do this most of us if not all of us true HP fans were alot yunger when we first started reading these books. Pardon my french but THE shhh IS WAK. Im turing 22 in august.

Posted by DracosChk Mar 21st 2008

I think it's unfair that they make it for lil teeny boppers they should have it opened up to all ages. I have never been to any of the movie premieres and I want to go.

Posted by xoxoshannonxoxo Mar 21st 2008

I entered, but I just made the age cut. They should make it 6 and UP.

Posted by alexxx Mar 21st 2008

i just entered about 20 million times. i am praying i make it idk what id do if i did! AH amazing! and the age thing sucks, like enter as your little sibling and then just you go if you win :] goodluckppl

Posted by grintloverr Mar 21st 2008

ughhh i'm too old by one year!! NOT FAIR oh well im going to the new york premier if they decide to have one this year

Posted by BellatrixCrucioYou Mar 21st 2008

Woooo!!! I entered!! I am 14. I hope I win sooooo bad!!!!That would be soooo awsome!!!!! I am obsessed with harry potter!!!!

Posted by Wizard4243 Mar 21st 2008

you know I could shave my beard off and bend down to make me shorter may be that would get me in. lol

Posted by adriennecray Mar 21st 2008

wtfffff?! I'm 15 =[

Posted by trustsnape7 Mar 21st 2008

ugh why do i have to be so old?

Posted by Tsamo Mar 21st 2008

Wow. Just made the limit, I'm 14. I really think that's an unfair age limit though. Sure, Nick mag is for kids but HP is something loved by people of all ages. But what're you gonna do? And on a side note, I'm a bit offended by those who seem to be implying people in this age range can't be "true" HP fans [The younger ages I can understand]. I'm sorry that I can't help the year I was born. But I discovered Harry Potter right around the time of the 1st movie, and a while later I picked up the books, and never stopped reading. I've been to many HP events and I feel it's a big part of my life. Hah sorry for going on and on but I don't think it's fair to judge the loyalty of fans by their age.

Posted by BeeHermione Mar 21st 2008

Dang... I'm fifteen and I'll be sixteen by then. :-( Well... good luck to you 6-14-year-olds out there.

Posted by Emi_5 Mar 21st 2008

hahaha BigThunderMatt......oh wow how so very true.....how so very true.
