While I will agree that it isn't the best idea to send a six or seven year old to a movie premier for a PG-13 movie, I would like to point out that I'm a bit disgraced at how you all are acting. For one, nickelodeon is a KIDS magazine, hence, they are going to make the contest appeal to their readers. Second, I think you are all regretting the fact that there are people who have been reading the books at young ages, you all probably started during that age range, and were still avid fans, so they should be just as valued. I started reading these books when I was six, about seven years ago, and I have been a fan ever since. Also if you can't add, let me just say that I'm happy to be able to enter!

This is WAYY exciting. I'm kinna affended that some people think younger people aren't "real" Harry Potter fans. It isn't true. I understand Harry Potter more than most people who read it. In fact, most Potter fans I know are in that age range. I'm glad I'm 12 right now. Hope I get it!

I have a nephew that is FIVE years old who loves Harry Potter and can sit through a HP movie without falling asleep unlike my eight-year-old neice, 25-year-old sis, and 12-year-old friend! Who says 6-year-olds can't be huge fans of Harry Potter??? So please stop all the crap about "you have to be over 14 yrs old to be a true HP fan"

Bummer, I'm 17! No fair. In general, I agree that many fans that age have been dragged in by the movies, at least those under ten. I mean, SIX?!

what about us OVER 14 die-hard fans???? totally unreasonable and unfair. i have to agree with HarryAndThePotters, i'm sure most HP readers are well over that age limit, with the increasingly diificult plot of the series. grr. smurf you Nickelodeon. but i guess we have to let some of the munchkins get a chance too. *tear* :'(((((((((
