Whoaa I have never heard of any of us Muggles playing Quidditch. How do they do that???

wow, now i can't wait till college so i can play Quidditch! And I actually aplied to Amherst. that's so cool.

that's so awesome! i'm definitely going to watch that program sometime. i applied to a college with a Quidditch team (Bucknell) but of course, four days before the deadline, they haven't replied to me (grrr). anyway, if i don't go there i am seriously considering starting a quidditch league wherever I end up. if you search "college quidditch" on YouTube, there are instructional videos and recordings of matches that are fun to watch. --- and I'm a cheesecakian too! I was visiting Princeton the day they had the match against Middlebury. It was Monday I think. I was really funny to watch, but pretty cool. They were selling T-shirts and I would have gotten one if they weren't like $40.

that is soooooooooooooo freaking awsome!!! and you know what this means fellow fans??? that the wise word of jo's books is spreading now even more. and i know one thing for sure......tomarrow morning i am going to actually get up early in the morning for once this spring break, and watch me some quidditch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! how exciting is that going to be?! it has been since the first book, my favorite sports. i swear, when i get into high school next year i am going to highly suggest a quidditch pitch and the best sport ever to be played. and hopefully when i go to college they too will have this wonderful game. OK, I just watched it and it is HILARIOUS!!!!!! It looks like SO much fun! I so badly want to play quidditch now! If you missed the show they said that you can go to CBS.com and click on The Early Show and then click on Harry Potter to check out the quidditch.

OK, I'm having trouble finding the quidditch thing on the early show website. Well, first of all DON'T go to cbs.com, go to CBSNEWS.COM. Then you can still click on the early show, but I can't find the Harry Potter link.

I got up early to watch this and had to suffer through the torture of constant commercial breaks and never knowing when they were actually going to show it. Very frustrating. It was fun to watch, though, and I think it'd be cool to try making a high school team. I liked when the guy said, "Yeah, we're proud of our son. That's what we sent him to college for-- to play Quidditch." Hehe. Good one, sir.

Yea, the second link works so if anyone missed the show just go there. And Chommy, I thought the quidditch looked good. Its probably as good as its gonna get, seeing as were muggles.

No, they don't fly!!!!!!!!!!!!! They just run around with a broomstick between their legs, silly!

@Ganger345: I just saw the poster and it looks really good! I like how they kept in that quote in the movie because Dumbledore saying he was safe with a 16 year old wizard just made me feel sorry for him. :( I love that poster!

That is so cool, but the newsbroadcasters were pretty obnoxious and didn't seem to have much respect to it. Through these books, Jo has created movies, games, clothing, toys, music, and sports. She is so inspirational.
