Sorry but Emma is not a good actress. But it's not a huge award so I guess it's cool. Rupert is the best of the three.

I agree with the comment about Rupert Grint - he always seems to get overlooked when it comes to award nominations, which is a shame. Anyway, best of luck to Daniel and to Emma. Let's hope they win.

Good luck to Dan and Emma, but as most of you are saying, Rupert Grint is the best of the three, although Dan has improved a lot from PoA to GoF.

Ahh I love Emma, but c'mon. She's not the greatest actress. She's overdramatic. The reason she has a huge fanbase is because... come on... have you seen her? She's beautiful. And Dan's a pretty good actor. But I think Rupert gets looked over. In the few parts they give him in the movies... he's freakin' amazing. I think the GOB director didn't know how important Ron is to the film cause... he wasn't in it very much. Which could be whyyyy no one knows that he's a fantastic actor. Rawr. But. i totally agree with most of the comments that rupert gets overlooked by awards like this. he really is a great actor!! i mean, in the yule ball scene, hes absolutely fabulous. and hes one of the main reason that this movie is sooo funny. and when im saying all of this, i dont mean anything bad to emma and dan, but i just think that rupert does a better job than they do. but good luck to the both of them=)

Harry potter is not without his TWO best friends. They make the movies what they are, not just one over the other and so on. Rupert is a funny guy and he is important, I just wish he would win things as much as Dan and Emma. Anyone could go to events and such but that doesn't mean that'll rack up their votes to win. I personally hope the Firefly actors/actresses get the awards rather then the HP cast. Don't get me wrong, Daniel and Emma do well - but nothing compared to Nathan and Summer! :)

I don't agree, this is called "Harry Potter and..." because it is about him. Like Jo said Harry and Voldemort are the main characters. The others are important but not like them. Congratulations to them!! But in my opinion Dan deserves to win it, I think he did brilliant in GoF, while I didn't like Emma's acting so much. And Daniel works so much for all the stunts, I hope he wins. I haven't seen any other young actor (or older) doing such difficult stunts. And I think his Harry is the most faithful to the books too. Anyway, good luck to both of them!

A lot of people don't find Rupert funny, a lot of people thinks his humor is stupid, and that's not how Ron is in the books. In the books Ron is funny without the need to be stupid. His fans says this is a scriptwriter's fault, but I don't think so, because the jokes can be funny, but it seems he doesn't know how to be funny without the stupid faces, expressions etc And don't tell me that's the director's fault because this movies have had 3 different directors already, and this has always been the same. I don't want to bash them, I'm just expressing my opinion. Also I didn't like the yule ball scene, that's not the Ron I know from the books. We like Ron, but he is not cool, and in the movies it's like Rupert tries to make Ron look like someone cool. In the books Ron is surprised to hear what Hermione says about inviting her next time. In the movie Rupert looks conceited and angry. In my opinion Ron is all the contrary, he doesn't belive much in himself, he can not be conceited. In the books Ron is really angry with Harry, in the movies it looks like a 5 years old who has lost his lollipop. All of this is my opinion of course, I know some people angry and others don't. But I don't understand how someone can compare Dan's work with Emma and Rupert's work. The scenes that Dan has to do are much more difficult that their scenes for example. And while Dan has always been faithful to the books, no matter how bad and nocanon the scripts have been, unfortunately I can not say the same about the others.

I hate it that Ron gets put on the back burner of Hermione. I think Ron is so much better than her but then oagain that is my opionion not anyone elses. BUt he just never gets any notice it seems. Anyway maybe if he acted a bit better he would get noticed although to me he is just fine. So yah....that is all i have to say

I think Rupert deserves to be there too. He's a great actor and should be there!! BUT! I alsow think Ronald is a totall GIT sometimes! Like, for instinse, HE THREW A KNIFE AT HIS BROTHER!!!! I think there are better actors they could have nominated from Harry Potter, but Emma and Daniel are okay, I guess. They do have their sleezy acting moments, and they don't seem to care much about what their characters' hair is supposed to look like, but good luck to them...

yeah, emma i guess deserves it though her acting didnt impress me in GOF. i really don't think dan is a very good actor, or rather good enough for an award, he's getting better, but he's needs to get even better than where he currently is. rupert is the only one who i think is actually a rather good actor, and i'm not speaking as a fangirl here :) why is it that dan and emma always get the awards? what about rupert? kinda sad really...

That's wonderful!! Even if the movies aren't THAT great, it's still Potter, and they actually Do act very good...

Once again, Rupert is completely overlooked. It's so stupid. It really annoys me, Rupert is the one who stays most true to his character, then Dan, Emma is nothing like Hermione, and Rupert manages this even though he is given the least true to character lines and everything. Rupert will go far further than Dan and especially Emma when HP is all over. Both Rupert and Ron are always overlooked outside the true HP fan community. It's ridiculous.

Dan's crying parts in the movie make me cringe, and Emma is kind of over-dramatic.. but overall, i guess they're alright actors - definately not the best though. The only reason they get nominated for so many awards is because Harry Potter itself (the whole franchise) is so big. No matter who plays Harry or Hermione, and what they're acting skills are like, its a given that they'll be nominated alot. Kind of stupid maybe, but meh.. what can you do?.. As for Rupert, i think the reason he doesn't get many awards is because the people giving out the awards don't want to nominate two people from the same movie in the same group. So it's a choice between Dan or Rupert, and the people will automatically choose Dan because his role is the lead, while Rupert's is the supporting one. Once again, maybe not fair - but what can you do?

Emma isn't a very good Hermione because she acts too... I don't know. Not nerdy and not-it-all enough. Hermione is supposed to be annoying, unattractive and loyal to her friends. Emma just doesnt fit the role of Hermione anymore. She needs to go back to 1st year mode..

Congrats to Emma & Dan, but Rupert is always left out!! :|
