Here are some good names: the day Dumbledore was outed: GAY DAY. Today: Voldy got Pwnd Day, Victorious Hallows Eve, I Hate Ginny Weasley's Guts Day, Dumbledore's Army Day, NO MI HIJA TU PERRA Day (that's spanish for Molly Weasley's line!), BIYATCH ANNIHILATION DAY, The Day The Voldy Died, The Day We Lived, Hero's Day, Harry Potter Day, Victus Day (Love that one!), and WE PWND JOO, KNIGHTS OF WALPURGIS day!

I'm not celebrating ten years since Remus died. And I disliked the fight scene, really. I think there's better scenes. Not to mention Voldemort dying in such a... short and sad kind of way. But call it Happy Voldemort's-Rotting-in-th e-Dirt-by-his-Muggle-Fath er-Who-You-Know-He-Hates Day!

Historically, the name given to a holiday does not given credit to the loser of the war. The name should give credit to Harry and everyone that fought in the war. Especially, those who died in this incredible battle. Harry you kept your promise to Mr. Malfoy! Thanks Jo for a great read.

That is the coolest scene in the books. It is the closing that we wanted, and we got it. A massive final showdown between good and evil. A great day.

Thank you so much, Jo. You've given me something I won't forget. I won't ramble on about how the past 10 years of my life have been, but just know that I would've been a much different person if not for the Harry Potter series. muggle_dad is correct, the name of the day shouldn't give credit to the loser (as fun as "Voldie Got PWN'D Day" really is), but instead should credit the triumphant. I'm not a fan of "Victory Day," it's too generic. We as a fandom should have something that, on hearing the phrase, you know it's Harry Potter. I vote for something like "Hogwarts Victory Day," or "Trio Triumph Day."

I say we just call it THE BATTLE OF HOGWARTS. I want to thank harry, life would probably be so much different today had he not triumphed. LONG LIVE THE WIZARDING WORLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!
