TC: The scenes have been shot and I was in a dinner scene with Professor Slughorn. I was also an extra in Dumbledore’s death scene which was a night shoot.
BH: Who did you work with? Who did you meet?

I must say, this actor comes closer to the Malfoy-look as portrayed in the books then Jason Isaacs or Tom Felton...not I want to see those leave. It is that he says he will be in a dinner with Slughorn, otherwise I would believe he was cast for " the Prince's tale" from Deathly Hallows, it would not be the first time DH and HBP are mixed up by the media. I certainly hope they are not including him in " a Sluggish Memory." because although one can conclude from Draco's sniding at the train when Zabini returns that Lucius was a member of the Slug Club in his days, that definetely was not in Voldemorts days and portaying it as such is a big breach with canon. Other possibiliy is that he is put on stage as Lucius father Abraxas. We know next to nothing about the elder Malfoy and he could be contempory with Voldemort. But then he would have died from dragonpox in about his early sixties and that is not that old for a wizard. But we will see, as long as the make a coherent story a few liberties can be taken.
he'll be great 4 the part, i wonder if they are going to use him for the 7th movie to a luciucs......you know for like memorys and stuff! he is rather dashing..isn't he does anyone else agree with me?
Young Lucius? AWESOME!!!
ok does anyone agree with me that he is TOTALLY DASHING?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! ?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? !?!?!?!?!!?!?!!?!?!?!!??! !?!?!?!?!?!?!?
OK HELLO? SO LIKE I SAID IS IT JUST ME OR IS HE TOTALLY DASHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?? ????????????????????????? ????????????????????????? ????????????????????????? ????????????????????????? ????????????????????????? ????????????????????????? ????????????????????????? ????????????????????????? ????????????????????????? ????????????????????????? ????????????????????????? ????????????????????????? ????????????????????????? ????????????????????????? ????????????????????????? ????????????????????????? ????????????????????????? ????????????????????????? ????????????????????????? ????????????????????????? ????????????????????????? ????????????????????????? ????????????????????????? ????????????????????????? ????????????????????????? ????????????????????????? ????????????????????????? ????????????????????????? ????????????????????????? ????????????????????????? ????????????????????????? ????????????????????????? ????????????????????????? ????????????????????????? ???????????????????...
he's dashing.
I don't remember a young Lucius Malfoy either... oh well, it could be interesting. Plus, he's really easy on the eyes ;)
Since this is posted on other sites, I'll assume that this is real. Even though I'm sure Mugglenet checks their sources, something doesn't feel right. Why would the Producers hire someone without an audition, purely on his looks? Even though they changed scenes in OOTP, they didn't add a character that was NOT in the book. I don't know why, but something doesn't feel right about this. Again, I'm not accusing anyone here at Mugglenet or other sites of fabricating a story, but something doesn't completely jibe with me. Something about the story seems "off". Why would the Producers change a scene? Lucius was NOT in HBP. He wasn't even sprung from Azkaban until Deathly Hallows. David Yates talked about "confusing" the fans in the OOTP "Snape's Worst Memory" scene as his reason for cutting Lily Evans from the scene. Isn't this going to cause confusion? I just finished reading HBP and Lucius Malfoy is not in the book at all. Malfoy is SUPPOSED to be in Azkaban. We don't see a Young Lucius until "The Prince's Tale" in Deathly Hallows.
great im glad someoen agress with me that hes totally dashing!
Oh my gosh! If I were at Hogwarts, I would DEFINATLEY hit that!
Man I hope he's eighteen! Lol--Otherwise, I'll have to recant that last statement! Ha ha!
remember the excitement when Alec Hopkin was casted as Young Snape. or about Susie Shinner as Lilly Evans (456 comments) . and how much of that part ended up the floor of the cutting room? Only november will show if we get to see a glimp of mr Coburn.
Hmm, I don't seem to recall Lucius in HBP, but whatever, perhaps David Yates has another made up scene for the movie. I'll be a little upset if they do make Lucius the same age as Voldemort, because that's not right. But I have a feeling that it'll be somthing like Slughorn telling the students about ex students flashing back to the slug club with Lily, Severus, Lucius, etc. I dunno. What really ticks me of however is that David Yates and co, can cast and add characters that don't even have a role in this particular book, but they won't add Fleur, Bill, or even Dobby, who play a more bigger role in this book/movie and who have a rather big role in the next book. It's just not right.
Why would there be a young Lucius Malfoy in HBP!?!?
Wasn't Young Lucius Malfoy in one of Slughorns memories when either Harry or Dumbledoor was tryin to find out about Tom Riddle's younger years? I will check my copy of HBP when I get home from work this afternoon.
nice... but you know what? i don't even remember a young lucius in the book... but i cant wait for the movie!
lord jesus christ he. is. hot.
I am really getting tired of Yates and others taking such liberties with the movies. They keep adding scenes that aren't in the books, and removing important parts of the books. I don't know why they think they need to make JK works "better" in their opinions. As for it's not a big deal about the change, it is. They remove the Gaunts from the film to make room for this rubbish that has nothing to do with the story. I just don't see why they have to keep adding their little made up scenes instead of leaving things alone.
i didn't read all 70 comments, so someone might have already said this. people were complaing about the 'young lucius malfoy' thing, saying this would add 10 years to his actual age by having him be at hogwarts when tom riddle is. wasn't that in the books, though? in deathly hallows, harry sees him sitting at the slytherin table when tom riddle is sorted. however, in one of the books (can't remember which, maybe 5?) lucius is quoted and it says he is 41. has this mistake already been adressed?
ah i'm so dumb that was snape's sorting. sorry for the stupidity. i blame no child left behind. haha.
Ok, ok wait. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't remember a young Lucius being in HBP. Even if he WAS supposed to be there (I'm assuming he's supposed to be in Slughorn's memory about Voldy asking about horcruxes in the movie), it never actually mentioned his name.
Ok seriouly he looks like lucius (from the movies n kinda from the books) but yeah there wasn't a younger lucius in HBP! comeeeee onnnn!!!! why create new characters when the old/REAL ones are so much more popular?!
