BBC captures aerial view of Leavesden Studios
BBC captures aerial view of Leavesden Studios UPDATE: It looks like the video was removed from the BBC.

In lieu of Half-Blood Prince trailer news, BBC is feeding our craving by providing some interesting video shots of Leavesden Studios via helicopter. Leavesden has been used to film most interior and exterior Potter scenes since the beginning of the franchise.

The aerial shots provide a glimpse at several outdoor sets, including Privet Drive, Hagrid's Hut, the Hogwarts Express - Hogwarts station, an entrance to Hogwarts, and one end of a Quidditch pitch.

Additionally, there are several sets that cannot be identified from recognition in past Potter films. Possibilities include the Gaunt's House (CBBC's guess), a part of The Orphanage, and The Burrow.

Watch the video and sound off with your ideas in the comments! Thanks to everyone who e-mailed with the tip.

It was cool but thank the lord for digital technology!

felixfelicis888, just because Jo never mentions in the book that there's a bridge doesn't mean there isn't. If you look on the back of the UK edition of COS, there are a few bridges. Plus, it looks really cool in the movie.

This is sooo cool, you can see Privet drive, spinner's end, #12 Grimmald place, the Quiddich pitch, the train, the Gaunt's house, the courtyard. I am extremely excited for the new film!!!!

In order... 1. The Burrow (not totally completed and lots would be CGI anyway) 2. Privit Drive 3. Hogwarts Court Yard 4. A brief glimpse of Spinners End and then a Forest (possibly the road from the train station to Hogwarts?) 5. Hagrids Hut 6. The train station in Hogsmead

haha hermyweasley105150 ... that's my last day of high school ... that would be funny. i could say, "Hey guess where i'm going next year?"

The first structure is the Burrow, not the Gaunts' house. The shed behind it is the same shed behind the Burrow when we first see it in COS. It is incomplete here because the cameras won't be filming that high and wide shots will be done with CGI. Also, rumor has it that the Gaunts house will be cut from the film. It's just a rumor so we'll have to wait and see.

The set that CBBC is guessing is the Gaunts isn't. Just watched GOF again. The set is definitely The Burrow. There is just a brief shot of it in GOF at the beginning as the Weaslesy, Hermione, & Harry are setting off for Quidditch World Cup. Love looking at the behind the scenes!

This is so illegal it pisses me off. This is why there were 50 gazillion cammo nets all over the set today. GRRR Ruins the magic XD but i'm still excited!!!! x

Seriously? Good Job CBBC. Way to recognize THE BURROW! Psh. But yeah that scene at 1:27 is really blurry I wonder what it could be. Spinner's End... nice theory. Oh wait. I just looked again. You could totally see the Winged Boars in the last second of that shot. Mannn. So is there any new scenery in here at all? And Yeah WHAT THE HECK is this about a death eater attack at christmas at the burrow??? that did not even come close to happening! This book is not all about dark and dismal at all! This is the book about love!
