Half-Blood Prince Sneak Peek by way of Yarn company
RupertGrint.net has spotted these new spools of yarn from German yarn company Opal. They have a new Half-Blood Prince collection with 8 color themes to be released Fall 2008. Each of the themes represents one character from the sixth Potter film and includes a picture.Those characters include Harry, Ron, Malfoy, Lupin, Tonks, Dumbledore, and Hedwig. Tonks most notably has a new, much shorter, haircut. Check 'em out in our gallery!

I want the wool, I want the HP wool! First get wool, then learn how to knit. Then I could knit socks =] I think it's oddly cool.

Hermione? * tear * Where's Hermione?!
I noticed that too, gryffindorprincess715! It seems they did a Harry-Ron combination instead of a Hermione-themed one. Weird, huh? Still, I liked some of them. Malfoy, Hedwig and Ron all seemed to have the right color scheme to me. Didn't much care for the others; I used to associate Lupin with yellow (I originally pictured his robes that color), but ever since the third movie, he's more green (like his robes were) to me now. And I thought Tonks's yarn was nice, but it could've been more pink. Speaking of, I like her short hair in the picture... but shouldn't it be spiky too? Gah, they never get it right. Real shame they cut her role down to one scene with Lupin where they're already a couple. And I agree with Lonnie; more photos of Lupin (clear ones too)!!! Would really help my role-play account on MySpace if I had more pics of him! Sheesh! Anyway, to return to the topic, I would totally buy those... if only so I could have the pictures, seeing as I suck at knitting. ^_^

Harry Potter yarn? That's a little random...but since I knit, I'll definitely be looking for it.

Oh Hermione! If you just knew that they had made yarn for Harry, for Ron, and one for even Harry + Ron! At least make it the Trio! It seems like this german yarn company doesn't think Hermione is an important enough character. Ironically, she is the one who so kindly knit clothes for the house-elves from yarn. Well I hope they do make one for her, at least to acknowledge her beloved character. (Otherwise, the colour schemes for the rest are pretty cool.)
