Whimsic Alley to host interview event with Potter fans
Whimsic Alley to host interview event with Potter fans Whimsic Alley, a Potter merchandise store located in Santa Monica, California, is one of the coolest places to shop for Potter in the world. So cool, in fact, that they are asking fans ages 8 to 14 to come out on May 18th to be interviewed on their love for the Potter books.

The interviews are being recorded for a special project that cannot be announced yet, but they can say JK Rowling herself will be watching some of the interviews at a later date. For more information, check out their website! Best of luck to all you kids who participate.

Its all very true, of course, but the last thing i'll say is this: the kid-fans of HP appreciate different aspects of the books. i.e: the magic spells, mythical creatures, cool instruments etc. The adult-fans of HP, however, appreciate the character-development, the situations they can relate to, the personalities etc. So it would be sort of odd to make them all compete against each other when they all have different appreciations of the books. Savvy?

I hate that all of these events are always for younger kids...seriously, who are the fans that have been following the series since BEFORE THE MOVIES? Most of the kids that attend these things haven't actually read the books...not that there can't be little kids that read the books and enjoy them...but what about us "older" fans that have grown up -with- the books?!?! I LOVED that SpellBound 2005 remembered that there are older fans that still want to do the dorky "getting dressed up" and celebrating the release of an awesome book...but since then, I have not seen many things that want to encourage our -still existing- fandom. Just because we are older doesn't mean that we have lost our love of the story. We should rebel and have a harry potter event that only those 18 and over can attend.

Ys, I agree, but what event could we create, that every 18 and older will like, but the younger ones what complain about not being included in???

You could all talk about why a-squared plus b-squared equals c-squared. Seriously do it! I won't be there to -ruin- your adult fan-fun. Oh, and make SURE it relates to HP. =)

No, seriously- without making fun- JUST THROW THE BIG-PPL PARTY! If we (the un-wanted minors) get mad- SO BE IT!!! We've done it to you (through random contests) LOADS of times! Just have the big-ppl party and let the un-wanted minors get mad. You don't have to worry about us! We'll be in school.....hehehe...borin g..... :O

Cool!!! So you don't care if we hold an event that doesn't incluled minors. That is very grown up of you. Thanks. Now that the worry of anger monors is all over, all that needs to be decided is what event we adults could hold for 18 years and up???
