Narrator Jim Dale wins Audie Award
Jim Dale, the narrator of the U.S. Harry Potter audio books, was the recipient of an Audie Award last night in Los Angeles for his work on Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Dale was the winner in the category of "Solo Narration-Male" and was also nominated for "Audiobook of the Year" for his voicing of the final installment of the Potter series.Don't forget that Mr. Dale will be a guest speaker this July at Portus 2008 in Dallas, Texas. Congrats to Jim. I listened to him on the SS audiobook, like seven years ago when I was in the second grade, and I was amazed how good he did McGonnical.
lol that's pretty funny angelina_johnson92, actually Jim recorded the first book before the first movie ever came out so I suppose Maggie Smith does a good impression of Jim doing Prof McGonagall in your eyes! I can never stop saying it enough, Jim is da man!
