UPDATE 2: The article is up again, with a correction at the bottom. The actor who has played Professor Flitwick in all of the Potter films recently spoke to MTV News. Davis speaks about the positive side of having Deathly Hallows split into two: “I think that’s a good idea because when you try and squeeze these quite lengthy novels into a two-hour movie, a two-and a half hour film there is gonna be stuff that’s left out,” Davis enthused. “There’s so much in the last book, I think it’ll make two really good films. It’s worthy of that.” The article incorrectly states that Davis played Griphook in Sorcerer's Stone; he was actually played by Vern Troyer. Davis played both a Gringotts bank teller and Flitwick in Sorcerer's Stone. Read the full entry here!

i agree with what hes sayin

Posted by: - Posted on: 2008-06-09 14:39:47

I totally agree with him and that is why I am sooooooooooooooooooo happy that movie 7, (the biggest and most important movie of the whole series,) is being split. Great job wb, but again where is the trailer for movie 6???

Posted by: - Posted on: 2008-06-09 14:44:34

I really doubt hell be in it though, maybe for one scene in DH part 2

Posted by: - Posted on: 2008-06-09 14:45:42

WOO getting well exited for HBP now, what with all the interviews and that. I agree with him too. Did you know they were thinking of splitting GoF? I thought they shouldve done.

Posted by: - Posted on: 2008-06-09 14:46:09

Actually, its Verne Troyer, not Vern

Posted by: - Posted on: 2008-06-09 14:48:38

we need a trailer!!!!! im going crazy without one!! its sad that little interviews like this are the only things in the HP news! :( i love him as flitwick though

Posted by: - Posted on: 2008-06-09 15:03:22

I liked the original flitwick, the one in the first movie... i mean this guy is fine at acting, he just doesnt look right... what happened to the first dude?

Posted by: - Posted on: 2008-06-09 15:07:02

He is the first dude, Warwick played Flitwick in every movie. He just got a makeover, i am guessing that the original look was not fitting JKs description.

Posted by: - Posted on: 2008-06-09 15:27:19

MTV...>_> Well, anyway, the pic doesnt look like Flitwick at all. I liked Flitwick:)

Posted by: - Posted on: 2008-06-09 15:31:57

I cant respond on MTV:(

Posted by: - Posted on: 2008-06-09 15:32:58

i think we all agree... two excellent films! oh yea and wordnerd...that is the first guy! lol its the same guy from all of them!

Posted by: - Posted on: 2008-06-09 15:34:53

yeah i think the deathly hallows will be much more detailed when its split in two i agree with him

Posted by: - Posted on: 2008-06-09 16:08:43

I dont know why people think he wont be in. While I doubt they will have any more Charms scenes, Warwick has been with them since the beginning. It would be sort of an insult to leave him out.

Posted by: - Posted on: 2008-06-09 16:29:05

I dont understand how Vern Troyer could be in the movies. I think he did a good job and all, but hes not British. I thought that every actor in the films had to be British.

Posted by: - Posted on: 2008-06-09 16:31:57

I agree with Abergoat, there have been no reports that i know of that say that he wont be in HBP, they have to have him in because who will wake up snape for him to kill dumberdore.

Posted by: - Posted on: 2008-06-09 16:36:27

correction to my above statement: J.K. insisted that all "principal" roles be British. I guess Griphook in the first movie was not considered a "principal" role. I wonder if that means that Vern Troyer will not be able to play Griphook in the last two movies, because the role is substantially larger in those films.

I really enjoyed him as Flitwick. I hope he comes back!

Posted by: - Posted on: 2008-06-09 17:33:23

I could see them asking Davis to do Griphook in DH.

Posted by: - Posted on: 2008-06-09 18:18:40

Cool! I totally know him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !

Posted by: - Posted on: 2008-06-09 19:41:58

Great article. Its nice to see a minor actor who really enjoys the books and has already thought about the adaptation ... and a journalist who acknowledges the fans in a less-than-negative light. :-)

Posted by: - Posted on: 2008-06-09 20:21:44

sweet i guess the actors like the idea of the split film, so i guess its a good idea! and yeah umm if they leave any important part of the 7th book out, im gonna go ape on their arse!

Posted by: - Posted on: 2008-06-10 00:09:59

I agree with the Profesor and with the every one who said the movie is good to be split. I hope the Profesor is back in the movies because I like him in his character.

Posted by: - Posted on: 2008-06-10 08:07:11

The article has been corrected. This is a quote from the article: "Note: In the original version of this article, I incorrectly wrote that Warwick played Griphook the Goblin, the treacherous former employee of Gringotts who helps Harry break into the Lestrange

Posted by: - Posted on: 2008-06-10 09:22:39

Well, at least we know that Flikwick will be in HBP because he says he is in the article. he probably wont be in DH part 1 because he doesnt have a part til the end of the book so he will probably be in DH part 2.

R.I.P. Professor Fritwick. R.I.P.

Harry Potter Wiki says that Verne Troyer played Griphook but Warwick did the voice. http://harrypotter.wikia. com/wiki/Griphook
