Electronic Arts Russian website has been updated with a new photo from the Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince video game. The photo depicts Harry staring into the pensieve with Dumbledore looking over his shoulder.
An official press released by EA back in April stated that the video game is set to be released sometime later this year, most likley around the release of the sixth film. Thanks to Leaky for the tip!

Does anyone know if the OFTP game for the xbox 360 is any good or not? I am thinkin about getting it. I had GOF on the PS2 and it wasnt that great but I just think that the xbox will have better graphics and all that. Anyone know?

I love the Harry Potter games but hopefully this one doesnt end up like OotP cause that game was nothing like the book or movie and I thought it would be so much better.

You have a fair point, angelina_johnson92: OotP wasnt too close to the book as far as the events went... but I think they still put a lot of effort into it. I mean, the inclusion of all those little details (wizard chess, various D. A. students who werent in the film, talking portraits, gobstones, etc.) was pretty impressive! But I still hold true to my belief that CoS (for the PC) was one of the best of the series. I dont really know what to think of this new picture; looks like theyre building on the animation they started in OotP. But the features on Dumbledores face look oddly flat to me. Guess theyve gone as far as they can with details at this point. Oh well, Im sure itll be a good game... especially if you hold it to the standard of GoF (WORST game of the series).

if that picture is from the 360/ps3 versions, then its awfully ugly, hope its the game in its old gen versions, means ps2 and wii (wii is actually a gc 1.01 and it have all the games given by the ps2 when there is a ps2 version, exception of the wiimote controls that is, wii and ps2 versions are the same at 95% ).

Yeah gandalf, im waiting until the Summer Solstice (June 21) for WB to announce whether they have any news of the teaser trailer, if its past that date, then its too late to advertise HBP, and it WILL affect their box office for sure, and Twilight will surely beat Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince :(
