I can't see them not making any movies, because most of the rides in the Islands have some sort of story. Like the Spider-Man ride. I really want them to make a ride like that. If I could design a ride, it would be carts like Spider-man but they're the Ford Anglias and you fly around and fly into the Whomping Willow and move around like your being thrown and hit. That would be cool. OH! And I just got home from my vacation to Florida and I went to Universal/Islands. I saw them building some stuff and I took pix.

you know Warner Bros. is really putting a downer on my Harry Potter life. we dont get a mini movie.....we havent gotten a trailer.....tut-tut WB tut-tut.

It really looks like to be that the Teaser Trailer won't run with Get Smart, it's gonna be Dark Knight...........so sad.........

I am sad in one way but happy in another, but I hope this is the best for the park and all the things they are thinking about HP.

Mini video or not, I am still going to visit the theme park when the park finally opens and MUHAHAHA, don't give up hope yet about what movie the trailer for hp6 will be included in, because there is still a whole day lefted, but I still say Dark knight will contain the trailer for hp6. That or hp fans never recieve a trailer at all and we will just have to wait until the real hp movie comes out, but let us hope not, because that wait would be death to us all!!!

Thanks for you comment, i am a firm believer that GOF DVD-Happy Feet, Happy Feet-OOTP trailer, OOTP DVD-Get Smart, Get Smart-HBP trailer. When it was announced that OOTP trailer was going to be released with Happy Feet, it was late October or something, so i really don't think it's goona be Get Smart.

I have heard from a family friend who is a historian and published author concerning theme-parks, that there is a "mini-movie" but it is for a ride at the park itself. Not different from the 'Spider-Man' ride they have already made!!!!

I was at Islands of Adventure today, but the construction is slow....it doesn't seem like much has changed since last time I was there about 3 months ago:( But they had a scrolling sign that says "The Wizarding World of Harry Potter will be opening in late 2009".

Just because they said that JK Rowling had not written any scripts does not mean that they are not making mini movies. It merely means she hasn't written them. There is a very distinct possibility that there are mini-movies being made but that JK is not the one writing them. It seems like a very crafty way to word a public statement if you ask me.

JKR is amazing, don't get me wrong, but they could easily get another writer to write a fairly convincing mini movie. I can see it now. ~ Yuo are on brooms, and traveling with auror!harry, while he's trying to capture the death eater. (basically, spideys ride with magic)

why do they deny it?... can't the think hmm that's a good idea, let's pretend we came up with it and do it!! it will bring in atleast 100 times more people!..... sheeeeesh this theme park is looking less and less of an 'awesome hp experience' and more and more of a 'large hp merchendise stand'

That only really says no to things based on the prequel, right? And I wasn't even guessing that ... it's hard to interpret this the right way.
