Potter prequel helps attract 70,000 visitors to Waterstones.com

As we told you previously, an 800-word prequel to the Harry Potter series was sold at a charity auction for £25,000 last week along with a number of other short stories by renowned writers. The story, featuring James Potter and Sirius Black, can be viewed at Waterstones's website. The site apparently received more than 70,000 visitors in the first 20 hours of its publication, helping to raise awareness of Waterstones's "What's Your Story?" promotion.
