I just got my new Deathly Hallows Deluxe Edition today and it is amazing!! Anyone who hasn't gotten it should get it right away while it's only $13!! It is totally worth way more than that!!

The pics are awesome, but did anyone else notice that the countdown has the wrong date on it? It says Nov. 11, the movie comes out on the 21st... I loved the Luna and Ron pics, they're awesome. Dan's looking good too, I never thought I'd sound so much like a fan girl... I have to go watch sports to feel better, I swore I'd never be one of those girls lol.

Why are they using Bunsen burners in potions class? Surely they would use magic to heat the cauldrons, no? I think it's funny that they have the Bunsen burners in that photo. :P

Okay sorry to dampen everyones good mood but I had to point out something..... In all the Harry Potter movies all of the classes have been joined... I mean all of the Houses have been going to the same classes, but in the books they only share classes once in awhile and now when the book finaly has The houses in the same class they break it up? In the Slughorn Pic all of the students that you can see are Gryffindor so why are they changing their format now? Where"s Draco and Knott and so forth? Sorry but the more I see of this movie coming out the more I have been upset. I just think they should have stuck more to the books like they did in the first movie. and stop changing and leaving out so much.. BUT!!!! I'm sorry everyone for pointing this out and runing your good news!!!

Did anyone else notice the body in Hermione's eyes? I think this is probably the scene with the cursed necklace-look in her right eye (on the left side in the picture), and you can see a sort of figure in a grey shirt on the ground. No beard or grey hair, so I'm betting on Katie.

Slughorn is all wrong. I'm sure he'll act the part great, but he's completely opposite of the character described in the books. Arg!

I agree Slughorn looks nothing like the book describes, lets hope he can pull it off. Is it me or does the Ron Quidditch picture look photoshopped? The lighting on Ron is completely different from the background, allmost like if that scene was done in 3d with him standing out of it...donno, looks fake to me.

I love the Ron one with the chocolates, but the Slughorn is still annoying me really...it just looks wrong. I feel like taking all these pics and sticking them together and making a trailer of my own, like an animation booklet. TRAILER, HURRY UP!

AWESOME! Has anyone else noticed that Dumbledore's hair looks SOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH BETTER?????? It is actually white and shiny, not ugly and dirty for once!!!!! Even if he still ties it and wears that ugly purple robe....and no glasses...grr.

Maybe dumbledore took his glasses off for one second... and put it in one of the pockets in the ugly purple robe.

Hermione/Slughorn forever!

I agree with many of the above postings--where is Slughorn's moustache? I pictured him as a sort of pompous 1940's movie Col Blimp, rotund, big walrus-moustache and alot of blustering upper-class "ho-ho"'s. Jim Broadbent would've been perfectly able to act that kind of part, should he have asked for it to be that way. But like Alec Guinness in "Bridge over the River Kwai" he miight've found it too boring to play a stodgy old duffer like that (in the text it says "buffer" but I always thought JKR meant "duffer"--but maybe she made a play on words intentionally, given the key clue Slugworth held). I always felt Lavender Brown was a sort of Mulatto girl, or like Angelina. I also think those Quidditch helmets are a bad mistake. After all, Madame Pomfrey can fix a cracked skull in a heartbeat, right? David Yates was a very mediocre choice to direct the last key films. They should've gotten Alfredo Cuizon or even Mike Newell, but David Yates is just so uninspired. More like a TV director. I don't mean one of the edgy types. More like a "Dallas" or "Dynasty" director (for those too young, they were highly popular night-time soaps, but all plot-oriented and lacking any depth, which is precisely what sets the HP series apart, as it can certainly be read on a facile level but has many more fine layers to thumb through than the immediately accessible ones).

Amazing what high res pics can do. Hermione is cute, mustache or not (so what). Also, I think "artistic liberties" have been taken with all the HP movies. Harry's eyes are supposed to be green, Hermione's hair is supposed to be bushy, blah-blah-blah. They get the main things right. Stiiiiilllll, I want to see the pic of Slughorn's potions class, bunsen burners and all, in the caption contest.
