Coming Soon has reported a tip they received from one of their visitors, who says there may be a 15-second promo for Half-Blood Prince coming with The Dark Knight in IMAX.
While this isn't official, it goes in line with IMAX rumors we told you about a couple weeks ago. We'll let you know when Warner Brothers makes an official announcement!

i dont currently live by an IMAX theater, but there is one back near my home town. i didnt want to have to see TDK in this IMAX as i assumed it would be very crowded, but i might have to now. but 15 seconds. is that even worth it? i agree that its probably just the title and theme music.

My guess is that IF they have this teaser, it will dramatically show the title, have a Dumbledore quote play (possibly someone else), then show the date. I highly doubt there will be any footage.

Perhaps Ive just never before been concerned with the release of movie trailers, but is this. . normal? We dont have teaser posters (I seem to remember having seen the teaser poster for Goblet of Fire at least 7 months before the movies release). We dont have a teaser trailer (If Im not very much mistaken the Dark Knight [another WB film] had a teaser trailer a year before its release [granted, it was mostly sound with no substantial images]). As much as I dont want to think something is weird about this. . . doesnt it seem to be? Honestly, why bother releasing a movie trailer for a film that will come out in less than two months? I know, I know, it makes hype, and Im sure Ill be happy to have it when its released, but I almost feel like WB is really upsetting the bread and butter fans who are pumping all the money into this franchise. Not that I wont see the movie when it come out because of this, but--imagine--if theyd released a trailer months ago, I cant even tell you all the people I would have made sit down and watch it with me. People who arent even Potter fans. But no. No trailer today. How irksome.

Am pissed because dont live near an IMAX So am just going to a local theater to see the dark knight we all should have the same right as everybody else to see the 15 secound promo of harry potter. Im so pissed right now.

lol i love it when people are like "if you were a true hp fan blah blah blah..." (no offense people who say that) because really, it could be argued that if you were a true hp fan, then you wouldnt even see the movies lol. again, no offense meant at all. i just think its funny. agh im going to be at CAMP when the dark knight comes out agh. ill just watch the trailer on youtube the minute i get home, i think.

Okay, dont get me wrong, I love Harry Potter so much. But this is getting ridiculous. 4 months until HBP and still no type of trailer at all. It was 8 months before OOTP when we got the teaser. This is getting stupid. And yes, when people say the WB has never confirmed anything they are right, but that is not an excuse for them to hold the trailer this long. I know that this is all rumors, and that the WB has no control over rumors, but when it is only 4 months till the movie comes out I think fans should have a say when there is no trailer. And 15 seconds? Sure, Id be happy, but not completely satisfied. 15 seconds is an improvement from nothing, but it is most likely going to show the title and maybe one scene. I know, sure, before we know it, itll be November 20th at 11:59, and well all be sitting in our seats in the theatre thinking, "I cant believe I was so worried 4 months ago." But right now, we have gotten nothing except pictures. And the WB is seriously lacking in the material they are releasing to us. I think a lot of people will agree with me when I say that the WB needs to hurry the **** up, because some of us are getting a little ****** off. I am not a patient person, and I am not proud of it. But come on WB, four months and still nothing except pictures. HURRY THE **** UP!!!!

I think they r tricking us b/c they said the TEASER trailer will not be with the TDK but they never said that the Full Trailer will come with TDK. so there is a chance that it will be with TDK also what is the fudge point of keeping the fans waiting for so long we all know that it is the HBP. in most cases trailers r release like 7-9 months or even a year before their movies come out. WB WTF. ALSO WB hasnt conformed anything yet and the ppl at coming soon.com are dumbasses.
