Dan Radcliffe appearing at TimesTalk event
Playbill is reporting that the Harry Potter actor will be appearing at TimesTalk on August 19th in New York City to talk about his involvement with Equus on Broadway:"From the boy wizard in the 'Harry Potter' films and Rudyard Kipling's ill-fated son in 'My Boy Jack,' to the troubled teenager in Peter Shaffer's play Equus, Daniel Radcliffe is an actor of diverse talents," reads a desciption of the evening. "Hear him discuss his Broadway debut in the drama, which starts previews on Sept. 5, and also how he's been able to move from screen to stage so seamlessly."

awwww so sad that I don't live in New york, but I expect the interview to be online soon!! XD haha. They forgot to mention that he played in December Boys too.
Arrhh I REALLY want to see Equus! I missed it in London- live to far away from London darn it! And from NewYork is a bit out of my reach seems as I live in the UK.. #I can't believe I missed out.. it would've been nice to see Dan doing something completly different, not just for films ie December Boys and My Boy Jack, but something live on stage.. I reckon his performance was and will be incredible.. in more ways than one ;)
One more event that I am unable to attend, GREAT!!! Tho maybe since my uncle lives somewhere in NewYork City, he could maybe go to this event and tell me all about by phone!!!

yes!!! I bought tickets last night! I'm so excited that I can actually go to an event and see Dan in person!! woohoo! :) for all those who can't go: no worries, I'm sure the event will be online, and if you keep thinking positive someday you'll be able to go see him at an event too (i'm sure he'll be around for years to come)!!
It really sounds like people now think of him not just as Harry Potter, but as a talented actor who happens to have played Harry Potter. So that's good!

I wish I could go but my dad would never let me go to that kind of play. But I guess its ok cause everytime i see Dan in those pictures I remember when he was 11-years-old in the first film. hahaha.
