Harry Potter's birthday is quickly approaching (July 31st), and Scholastic is preparing with a new feature on their official website. Click here to access their Birthday Wish creator, where you can write your own wish to Harry and view all of them in present or list view.

Thats interesting! I never realized that SS was released on harrys/joes birthdays until the previous news update (not this one but the one before.) Anyway this is pretty cool :-D i still cant flippin believe its been 11 years since SS and 1 year since DH. We went from "Now, you two- this year, you behave yourselves. If i get one more owl telling me youve- youve blown up a toilet" (96 SS) to "NOT MY DAUGHTER YOU B**CH" (736 DH). Its been a great journey. Thanks so much Joe!!! We Love You So Much!

I did it, I wrote one, I worte some thing that kinda sounded like Sirius, "Happy Birthday, Harry James Potter, and many more with your happy family. *raises glass* To Harry! James would have been proud of you." Or I wrote something like that anyway. I wrote my name as Padfoot.

My friends birthday is on July 31 and the weird thing is that Im her only friend who knew it was on the same day as Harry potter and she was so excited about that! haha I said to Harry "Happy Birthday Harry! Dont feel bad messi!!! I too forgot about harry potter birthday!!! I also forgot the date of the one year annevery of the seventh book and the date for the 10th year annevery of the first book, but I wont forget anymore. My co-worker and I made a bit on myself not bitting my nails and I won!!! So she will be buying me anything I want for $30 and I have choosen the 10th year annevery edition of the first book!!! Okay, Ill admit that Im a bigger fan than most people would consider themselves to be. Ive read the entire series multiple times, I have all the movies, I even have two copies of the Deathly Hallows; one regular, and one Deluxe Edition. But a line needs to be drawn somewhere, and I think I know where it is. If you actually submit birthday wishes to a fictional character, then you need to hauled away to a mental hospital, and forced for the rest of your life to sit next to someone who is crocheting something that isnt there. Seriously, he isnt real. I know you all know this, or at least I hope you do. There is a world outside of Harry Potter, or have you all forgotten that?
