Half-Blood Prince teaser trailer now online!
(Digg this story!) UPDATE: AOL now has the trailer online in three different quality versions. Check 'em out HERE!After initially appearing on MSN over an hour before the trailer was supposed to premiere on AOL, we now have the teaser trailer online in all its glory. For those of you who have seen both the MSN and AOL trailers, you'll notice that the MSN one says that the film is coming "This Year" as opposed to "November" in the AOL one. The web addresses also differ... AOL says HarryPotter.com while MSN says HarryPotter.co.uk.

i didnt like this trailer...it was boring and told me nothing!
My legs are shaking. My stomach feels tense. My heart is beating fast. I think I'm coming down with HARRY POTTER FEVER!! OH MY GOODNESS. I am so excited for this film.

Hopefully this is just one version, and the one debuting tonight will be longer, less about Tom Riddle, and even more exciting! Love this one, too, though!
It was very intense and rather spooky. I love that sense! David excelled himself with that aspect! And little Tom is so adorable. ^__^
OMG!!!!!! Yaay! The movie looks so, so, so, so good. Much darker, and way more intense. Young Tom is perfect! And yeah, the running through the forest, and ginny in her dressing gown are probably from the attack on sthe burrow scene. I AM SO FREAKIN EXCITED RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HOLY CRAP!!!!I can't even describe how happy i am right now!!!! young tom riddle looks like one of those freaky kids you see in scary movies. and the trailer was sooo dark compared to the other ones. I CAN"T WAIT FOR THIS MOVIE!!!!

That was soo amazing! It was really good for a teaser! I need to watch it again because it is a bit confusing.

If you listen carefully during the fields scene with Ginny you hear a growl. Im guessing thats Greyback, who will then injure Arthur, which was the subplot put in (apparently) in place of Bill. The performances were nice and suble and the direction of the scenes is darker and I like that. Im not about to jump around saying how amazing it was. It was good and got me excited, which a teaser should do.
Still, I hope they've only pickout the "dark" moments of Dumbledore. He needs to be more happy with himself and smiling imo. Or maybe he wasn't so much in 6? I'll have to reread...

I think this may be just the UK trailer- because at the end of the video it displayed www.harrypotter.co.uk. They would have shown .com if this were the US version- maybe we will see an entirely different trailer from AOL! =) But that may just be wishful thinking...
Totally did not expect it to arrive early. Whoa, looks like a horror movie...which I guess it is in a way. Yea, I didn't get the Ginny/dressing gown/forest deal either...

It focuses wayy too much on Voldemort, but still looks good ^^ Not worth the mind-wrenching wait though.
Argh, I promised my sister that I wouldn't watch the trailer until she got back so we could see it together! I insisted upon it, but now I really regret the decision! Still, seeing how happy all of you are makes me extremely happy too. I just know I'm going to love this trailer! Now Stephanie, GET HOME!!!

its really good but it doesnt show Harry a lot at all it's kinda weird that there's more dumbledore than there is harry in this but it should be good Ron being poisoned looked pretty stinkin awesome :-)
Oh. My. Dumbledore. That was AMAZING. The orphanage scene in my FAVORITE in HBP and it made up most of the trailer. Definitely worth the wait.

After hyperventilating over just the sight of the article, then clicking on the link and waiting to load, hearing the familiar score, and hearing Dumbledore's first words, I think I might have pissed my pants a bit. One word. EPIC.

Pretty good for a teaser trailer, I must say. I wish it didn't only show one scene, but I guess that's why it's called a "teaser". Pros: It looks JUST LIKE the book. Finally! I love when they get it right. Everyone seems really good...even Gambon, who I usually dislike. Cons: I wish we could have actually seen something related to the title of the book...maybe a shot of the book or Snape? That ought to be in the real trailer though. (I hope!) Thanks for posting...I can't wait for the international/domestic trailers!!

Oh my god! I thought it was insanely good! I like the fact that it centers around young Tom since the actor seems so perfect! I do think that Snape should have gotten a couple of seconds in it though, and they could have shown Hermione and Draco as well. But all in all I liked it, though not as much as the OotP-trailer. I don't really get the part with the 'field-running' and the scene with Ginny.. Greyback looks scary though not as I had imagined him. Voldemort also look a bit scarier but that could be because they show him in a flash. Dumbledore in the fire looks great and Michael Gambon actually seems a bit softer this time around, so maybe he won't be all 'Don't you have some studying to do?!' in this one.. We can at least hope so :)
its about time they get it out!! im not trying to complain too much, but this is kind of lame... they need to come out with something better than this i know they were busy with the dark knight, but personally i think harry potter is more important. also, since wb got 155 million $$ in the first day or week or whatever of the dark knight, they should have used the money rush to put more in it. you coulnt even see harry or hermionie and the best shot they could get of ron for the trailer was on the floor poisoned??? i agree with tonksthetiger its really annoying that almost the whole thing was in the orphanage and there should have been more harry/hermione/ron
Pretty good - interesting to watch a scene from the film in lieu of a trailer... I liked it but also wish Snape had been in it, or a bit of the fight within Hogwarts or even a little bit of Draco. And I'm hoping that it's a product of editing for the trailer - rather than editing/writing from the movie - but that memory is not the most important one that Dumbledore collects. It's the altered one from Slughorn that confirms his suspicion about Horcruxes.
