I have normally avoided the muggle casts, except for a few exceptions because I usually end up yelling at my computer at how frustratingly dense the hosts are (my apologies) and I only got 10 min. into this one before I had to turn it off...
Of course the segments of the trailer were taken out of order and out of context...
stop taking small stories or details from stories and leaning on them in such a way that ends up taking them to an unnecessary extreme. Michael Gambon was not playing Dumbledore as gay! the "reports" were all done tongue planted firmly in cheek (incidentally the comments came from dan radcliffe , and he was mentioning dialogue in the film that comes directly from the book)
and the very title Half Blood Prince is a giant red herring! it is all about building up a major character to be a bad guy when in fact he isnt.
relax this is only a teaser trailer a little taste to let people know what the film is about. it had the perfect tone to it. I am sure when the movie comes out fans of the book will have plenty to be crazy mad about when we see how much importance is placed on the relationships of the other characters. I am sure that when other trailers begin to surface closer to the release of the film they will all focus on the other aspects of the picture, like the mysterious potions book that Harry finds, and of course our favorite blond boy Draco.
I could go on but why, I will only sound spiteful. the trailer rocks. I hope the movie lives up to it.

Im actually listening to it right now... Im from San Diego and I felt the earthquake.. lol.. I also thought it was my neighbors at first but then i realized the truth.. lol... I loved the trailer, love the youtube video.. and i screamed like a fangirl.. Great show!!!!

Did you guys notice??!! If you download the 1080 version or whatever of the trailer and then reduce it to fit your screen, you can totally see DUMBLEDORES BLACK HAND! 1:07. Its the frame of Dumbledore that shows him trying on the ring. AFTER the bright flash of light on the second frame. You can really just see his index finger turning black, not his whole hand yet. OMG?! Am I the first to notice? Mugglecast didnt say anything!!

Its really pissing me off how people are making a big deal about that earthquake in southern california. For all you people who dont live in california and dont really have knowledge about earthquakes, anything lower than a 6 is weak. The most a 5.4-5.8 earthquake can do is quicken your heart rate a bit and shake your bed.. maybe knock over something from a shelf. THATS IT! Its REALLY irritating me because I live in northern california by san francisco so we get a lot of those and we even get BIGGER ones and they rarely ever make it to the news, let alone national news. We have a hard time finding them in our local newspaper even. But leave it to the SoCal media to blow it up WAY out of proportion and freak out the rest of the nation over something soooo minor and ridiculous. UGH! Sorry. Its really starting to irritate me. Youd understand if you lived in my area.
anyway, I think the trailer is brilliant. I love the dark feel to it. And I agree that Michael Gambon sounds A LOT different. In the past he has made Dumbledore way too intense and angry. From what Ive seen from these few seconds, he seems to be softening the character a bit. Especially in the first few lines. I think he may actually redeem himself! And about the flash... I looked at the pic for about 20 minutes and then I got a screen cap of cedric dying in GoF and they look EXACTLY the same. Even the sleeve of the shirt... so its the graveyard scene.
