This is bad news for all fans of Harry Potter. Although, money is the strongest motivator, I dont believe WB should be spared knowing how the fans feel about this news. I consider myself a consumer of Warner Bros. and therefore, I will be filling out a customer service form found on the Warner Bros website appropriately stating my discontent. Yeah, weve had pictures before. Big whoop, WB. If anything, this only makes us even more angrier seeing as we desire to see the film even more. WB really messed up this time.
And on the picture with Bellatrix, its not the attack on the Burrow. Obviously, its the end battle scene. You can clearly see Hagrids Hut in back of her.
I just hope that by some miracle they change their mind.
Me and my friends had already made plans.
Oh well Mugglenet, guess its time for you to change your time.

Its a little hard to get excited about pictures when we wont see them in action for another eleven months... I was so excited for November. My sister, my friend, and I were already making plans to go see the movie opening day. Now all three of us will be in all different places in Canada during the summer and we wont be able to see it together. Stupid WB.

Seven hours ago we would have been THRILLED (probably even Micah) because these pictures show Narcissa (sort of? Shes facing away from the camera) and the opal necklace and Snape and some very important scenes. But after the BIG BLOW TO POTTER FANS (which is the name I have given to that horrid HBP news two stories down) nothing seems as great anymore. Quit taunting us, Warner Brothers. And I suggest WB hire several people to filter through the mail and complaints theyre going to get after this. Its going to ~cost~ them money to move the date back in several ways, not MAKE money!!

You know what makes me sad....Im so angry right now and upset...I keep telling myself to boycott the movie and just rent the movie DVD...but I know I wont. I want to see Alan in what I suspect is going to be a role that will steal anything Dans ever done. I want to feel the sound blasting me out of my seat and have my favorite actors face ten feet tall. Were angry, but soon well be resigned and unhappy...and well go see the movie in July simply because weve been waiting so long and by then, DH will be two years old.

As nice as these pictures are, the more stunts like this that WB pulls, the less enthusiastic I am about the Potter movies.
Really, how many of those pictures are just "Promotional" pictures to get fans psyched up about the movies. How many of them will actually make it into the movie itself. Look at what happened with OOTP. They released over 100+ PROMOTIONAL picture, half of which didnt make it to the movie.
Im getting more of a "Whatever", "Who cares?" attitude. They could wait until 2015 to release the film and I wouldnt care at this point. By then, most of us will lose interest in the movies.
If this is true, I sure as heck wont go rushing out to spend my money. It wont be worth it.
So, they can do what they want. The more stunts like this they pull, the more people theyll tick off and the more money theyll lose.
They said the movie will be released in November 2008, if any of them have an ounce of intelligence, theyll stick with their original schedule.
Seriously, if this is true, people wont care if they see the movie at all. At least I wont. Even if Alan Rickman is in it, Ill wait until it comes out on DVD and rent it.
Well, you can say they accomplished one thing. They have managed to tick off a lot of people. My Friend at work is going to be so excited to hear this.

Seriously, this latest news has me at a point where I think Ive lost all enthusiasm for the film. I havent even cared enough to look at these pictures. I clicked on one and it didnt even make me the slightest bit excited.
From COS-OOTP Ive seen each films midnight release, and gone back to see it in the theater at least one or two other times. Ive even dressed up, I was so excited. Im so disappointed now, though, that... I might see it, but I might not. Seriously. Not because Im angry or to punish WB, but because feeling this let-down has pushed me to a place where I really just dont care about this movie anymore. I have the book and the audiobook. And I have Beedle the Bard to look forward to for a New!Potter-fix. WB can just toss the movie out as far as Im concerned right now.

OK folks....I dont know if anyone has expressed this theory yet but if Im repeating it then at least I know I think Im on the right track.
It is my belief that Warner Bros. is lying. They did not push this movie to July 2009 on some obscure day after the 4th of July blockbuster holiday weekend because they really dont have anything in the can due to the writers stike. If some Warner Bros. executive just figured that out then they all need to be fired!!! The only reason why they chose to make an unheard of move with a blockbuster move like Potter after the advertising campaign has started is for this reason only......ready???....THE Y DIDNT WANT TO GO UP AGAINST TWILIGHT AND HAVE THEIR PROFITS HURT. I repeat......TWILIGHT IS COMING OUT ALSMOST AROUND THE SAME TIME AND WILL HAVE A HUGE AUDIENCE TOO!!! Twilight has the same demographics as Harry Potter and maybe even an older audience as well because it starts off as a darker story. HP is just starting to get into the darker elements of its story. It must have hit Warner Bros. like a ton of bricks because they already had this release date for HBP scheduled and now you have the Twilight movie coming out too?! That studio planned its release perfectly to go up against Potter....Potter vs. Twilight. Just think, if Twilight made more money than Potter during the same year, it would devastate the franchise. Warner Bros. is having none of it so hence, release HBP on a truely unheard of obscure date in the middle of next summer because they will be going up against no major releases.....THEY CAN HAVE ALL OF THE PROFITS TO tHEMSELVES....DUH.
As Harry would say, "Brilliant". But for us fans.....IT SUCKS!!!!

I am thoroughly displeased with the release date being pushed back so effin far back!
First the WB messed up Goblet of Fire, then they massacre Order of the Phoenix, now with Half Blood Prince it looks (at least through pictures) they got it right, but they arent allowing us fans the ones that pay them, to see the final product until two years after the last movie was out...
This is truly a dark day indeed.

I wonder if Mugglenet.com really does care for this bit of bad hp news, or if they are just useing every sec/min that they can, to make fun of the real fans!!! Groups are forming for different locations. We even have t - shirts and all. Just two days ago, some of the people who I saw fired up and ready to take action, saying that they would not let WB get away with this, are already giving up. This is exactly what WB had expected you to do. Of course they knew they would get backlash for their decision, but they knew given a few months you would stop caring. It hasnt even been a week. Even if we can do nothing to change the date, I feel we have the right to let WB know how unbelievebly rude, ungrateful, and inconsiderate theyve been to the very same people who made them rich. With Beedle And The Bard being released, this was supposed to have been a really good end - of - the - year for us fans. But they took it away because they want more money to add to the billions of dollars they already have. Harry Potter has been a big part of my life for many years. I will not take this in silence.
