If they have an attack at the Burrow how are they going to explain why they choose the burrow in book seven after the seven harry potter chapter? I think it loses the meaning of the burrow being safe. Oh well, I am losing excitement for this movie rather quickly.

This is one of the "extras" David Yates put in the movie to "improve" it, I guess. Either way, this isn't in the book. I just hope they aren't making these "additions" to substitute for other scenes like they did with OOTP. I'm not too crazy about Ron's hair cut. It does look like Molly plopped a bowl on his head and cut around it.

I mean NO offence to Mugglenet, I fully understand and respect the fact that there ARE people out there that do want to see bits and bobs of the newest movie, so direct anything I say that might be considered as rude toward the WB ... I don't give a *insert offensive language here* about new HBP pictures *Not looking at them* ... I don't want to be spoon fed screenshots of the movie over the next 10 months, I'm only interested in the movie falling back onto its original timetable. Actually, I have two pictures for WB ... Picture this. PICTURE 1: An average movie theatre on November 17th 2008. People are queing happily and excitedly all the way down the road, both ravenous HP fans and general movie goer's alike. HBP is being shown for the very first time to sell out audiences. The maximum financial takings for the days shows have been achieved and WB celebrates successful release takings. PICTURE 2: An average movie theatre on July 17th 2008. People (consisting mostly of HP fans - the general movie goer's have either been been scared away or killed by the raging HP fans) are now queing snarl faced and bitter, all excitement has evaporated. HBP is being shown for the very first time having been moved from its original release date for B******t reasons. Anyone who manages to survive the angry mobs outside see the film (minus the people who follow through with their threats to boycott, those in jail for having turned to crime and those who just died). Movie takings are far below expected projections, death tolls continue to mount and fans are just genally p****d. WB thinks 'We didn't see this coming'. Am I talking rubbish ... Possibly BUT, PICTURE 1 could be accurate for BOTH release dates ... I.E. It wouldn't matter when the release was, it would make the same amount of money eitherway, so WHY bother moving it at all!? DO I NEED TO DRAW WB A DIAGRAM OR SOMETHING!? Ah, whatever *goes back to sticking pins in Voodoo doll representations of WB officials*

AdrianTresk: wow, little melodramatic. WB said that they were pushing it back b/c they don't have a big blockbuster for the summer. people will see it and be happy to see it when it finally does come out, changing the release date just pisses people off right now, come jan or feb 2009 people won't be mad anymore. seriously, get over it people. there's nothing to do but wait. if i remember correctly most of us waited 3 years after book 4 for OotP to be released... 8 months is nothing compared to the wait between books 4 and 5. ginny's just holding her hand wierd. ron's hair has been better, but it's also been worse (GoF he looked like a girl with a bad hair cut). and if you skimmed through the comments you would know that the director decided to add the scene - it's not in the book. he wanted create the sense of danger and impending war that the book gives, but is hard to capture in a movie.

lol I agree pottercullen...yes I too was upset about it for a about a day but then I have gotten over it...there are far too many things for me to do than worry about when the next HP movie is coming out...and I am a BIG fan of HP... on to other things...I love the pic yeah rons hair looks goofy but then again ron is goofy lol...it could be far worse people...I dont see anything wrong with Ginnys hand either...as for the scene they added...if you guys had been listening they gave a reason to this too...and for once it actually makes sense...lol dont remember what it was but obviously JKR agreed to it so it must have been a pretty good scene to add....

I like the pictures. It means that they haven't forgotten us. I, too, think Ron's haircut is different. At least Harry looks more like Harry and not Dan. (Didn't like Harry's haircut in OOtP.) I have accepted the fact that the movie is coming out in July. But, I am still disappointed that it's not coming out in Nov. I would not boycott the HP movies. I would not protest to WB. I just privately hope that they would move it back to Nov. Please don't tell me to get over it. I will in my own time. It's like we have to mourn the fact that it isn't coming in Nov. That's why people are still complaining.

I have two things to say: 1) The movie would go for 2hrs. with no points of action if they did not include the attack on the Burrow. That would be BORING. Suck it up and get over it. It's for the best. It does not affect the plot at all. 2) Even if you do hate this--DON'T BLAME THE DIRECTOR. You just show your movie-making ignorance when you blame the director. The screen writer writes the movie, the director just brings what he writes to life with the help of the actors.
