That's definitely Arthur and not Bill. I got really excited for a second there :p And where is Hermione? Ron's role in this movie seems to be a lot bigger than it's been in the past (not that I mind, as Ron is my favourite character), but we've heard next to nothing about Hermione.

Really, where is Hermione? And, that really doesn't look like Bill, I'm pretty sure it's Arthur. I still wanna see a bigger version of the Lupin/Tonks picture from the other calendar...

Book=Diary

Not that a part of me doesn't appreciate the flow of new merchandise and pictures, it is ANNOYING me how we are bombarded with these new images all the time, with nearly a YEAR left to the release of the film. I actually really like the picture of Draco with the bird...is it a dove? Anyway, I love the symbolism of it. The bird representing innocence, and the strain of Draco's face. He's struggling with everything he's going through and it's a difficult way to grow up. Essentially, he's letting the bird fly away, along with his innocence. The task Voldemort assigned him wasn't an easy one, and Draco really grows up in this book/film. =] The other pics are nice; once again there's no Hermione, Dumbledore look so fake, and the one of Snape looks veery familiar. Ah well, maybe something's better than nothing...

A little suspicious, myself. If it's a French calendar, with French writing on the back, why is all the text on the photos in English? It's "Poudlard", not "Hogwarts", and "Mange-morts", not "Death Eaters". Can someone explain? Also, I think Dumbledore looks way too airbrushed, and I echo many people when I ask where Hermione disappeared to, and why Filch is more important than she in this calendar.

A lot off people thought that because of the extra that played her in PoA. But I don't think it's ever actually mentioned in the books.

This obvious lack of Hermione is starting to bother me. Why are there no pictures of her?! But I will say that this one looks a lot better than the American one at least. And that IS Arthur Weasley and Lupin, and it IS the Riddle diary, those are obvious things if you think about them. I have no idea what the bird is about, but this is the time when Draco starts going a bit soft because of his "chores" he has to do for Voldy, so maybe there's something there because of that. I definitely like this one better than the American one, I don't know what's up with the cartoon-like pics in that one. But now I'm really ticked off that the movie has been postponed. I want my HBP and I want it now!

i was going to say that the book is probably Riddles diary... but someone already said that... so anyway, there's no Hermione? that sucks. weird people who don't put her in... i really don't have any hopes anymore for this movie. maybe if they hadn't postponed it, but nope, they had to get rid of that small shred of possibility too. it just looks so... stupid. and unlike the book. and i know, i know, not everything from the book can be in the movie and new scenes are purely for our benefit and on and on. but please, can we have something, just at least one little thing, that's actually from Harry Potter? besides the name? please?

Love the beautiful pictures of Draco :) Does anyone have any idea where someone living in the U.S. could get this calendar? The calendar I've seen that you can preorder on Amazon.com is definitely not this one, and I'd much rather have one loaded with pics of Draco like this one. Anyone? Anyone?

I really like the pictures of Draco and Dumbledore, but the cut-and-paste pictures of Hagrid, McGonagall, Snape and Filch from SS/CoS is a real cop-out! If they needed figures to include in the calendar, why not add new pictures of Hermione, Slughorn, Lavender, the Weasleys or Luna? Very odd!

Of course that is the diary. It would be oh so very easy for Dumbledore to get it back as well. If you remember from the movie, whom was the last to have it, Dobby! Whom goes to work for Dumbledore? Dobby! They can easily say that Dumbledore simply asked Dobby for the Diary back and Dobby returned it without a problem. Lucius left Dobby standing there holding the book, it was never returned to him. As for the bird of mystery, my guess is it carried a letter. Either to him from someone like his mother or father, or from voldermort with instruction and/or threat. Perhaps he is sending a letter to one of the same. Whichever it may be, the contents of said letter disturbed him.
