New interview with Dan Radcliffe in Details magazine
The actor who plays Harry Potter is once again appearing in Details Magazine, this time in their October issue to promote Equus. Details' website has online a video interview with Dan, who's sporting a very unique new hairstyle for the magazine's photoshoot.Radcliffe is a little manic. He leans forward as he talks—arms tightly folded, eyes darting about, speaking quickly through a clenched jaw that's lightly dusted with stubble. It's likely that Radcliffe is a bit jumpy about being in public—since we left his Manhattan hotel against his handlers' wishes, a bodyguard trailing by a discreet half-block, our stroll has attained the frisson of a Compton roll with Snoop Dogg.
"Not particularly," Radcliffe says when asked if he's nervous. "No, no, no, not at all! The reason I'm looking around is 'cause I always like to clock where everybody is in terms of who's recognized me. 'Cause they try to be subtle and they never are."
What's the latest count?
"Well, there were those two Japanese girls, and that couple over there, and those other two girls, and that mother and daughter . . . "

The picture they used on the cover is really good, but I don't like the red hair in the video interview. I like this year's cover better than last year. It was a good interview, but I don't like the red hair. I'm glad it was just for the photoshoot. At least the picture on the cover isn't one with the red hair.

Oh my God - this is priceless! I started laughing so hard when I read the part about his zipper hiding his "Absolut Joy". I never really liked Dan's sense of style. He was always too conservative and looked like some poor fifty-year-old dressed him. I guess he's trying to make up for it by going all out. Well, he's crashed and burned. And I'm starting to wish the legal age of consent in Britain was 42. He needs to keep his Joy in the bottle, haha.
I loved the article and I liked that video interview! It was fun and crazy. But I have never heard of anyone drinking vodka with diet coke...
AT first I thought the hair was a joke, or for some new movie or play! But it's.. .for real. XD He must think he looks American, lol. He mentioned that people around the park "recognized" him. Is he sure they're not just looking at his hair? Poor Dan. :D
