The actor who plays Harry Potter is once again appearing in Details Magazine, this time in their October issue to promote Equus. Details' website has online a video interview with Dan, who's sporting a very unique new hairstyle for the magazine's photoshoot.
Radcliffe is a little manic. He leans forward as he talks—arms tightly folded, eyes darting about, speaking quickly through a clenched jaw that's lightly dusted with stubble. It's likely that Radcliffe is a bit jumpy about being in public—since we left his Manhattan hotel against his handlers' wishes, a bodyguard trailing by a discreet half-block, our stroll has attained the frisson of a Compton roll with Snoop Dogg.
"Not particularly," Radcliffe says when asked if he's nervous. "No, no, no, not at all! The reason I'm looking around is 'cause I always like to clock where everybody is in terms of who's recognized me. 'Cause they try to be subtle and they never are."
What's the latest count?
"Well, there were those two Japanese girls, and that couple over there, and those other two girls, and that mother and daughter . . . "

The picture they used on the cover is really good, but I dont like the red hair in the video interview. I like this years cover better than last year. It was a good interview, but I dont like the red hair. Im glad it was just for the photoshoot. At least the picture on the cover isnt one with the red hair.

Oh my God - this is priceless! I started laughing so hard when I read the part about his zipper hiding his "Absolut Joy". I never really liked Dans sense of style. He was always too conservative and looked like some poor fifty-year-old dressed him. I guess hes trying to make up for it by going all out. Well, hes crashed and burned.

You people really are quite ridiculous. He is obviously doing a photo shoot mimicking Ziggy Stardust... Not sure why you are all so deluded that you cant figure that out since-- the video is clearly of him, doing an interview, at a magazine, where they are taking pictures of him, for a photo shoot. Not the first or last time a star has been put into heavy costume make-up for a single photo shoot. Watch a single episode of Americas Next Top Model and you will learn how to not crap a brick next time you see media such as this.
Also, the interview both in the video and article were great. Daniel is always so witty and its nice to see some more mature ideals and thoughts coming from him, I mean after all-- he isnt REALLY a "boy wizard" in spite of how much we all wish he were (as well as ourselves).
But really people, watch a few episodes of I Love the 70s/80s and learn some basic pop culture! :P

Yeah, its just for a photo shoot, but I guess he doesnt realise or care that it could hurt his image. We have a set image of who hes supposed to look like, that when he tries to change it, just for a short time, his fans can get upset.
