How the heck did he get into a test screening, and how was there a test screening without anyone hearing about it? Things like that don't get kept as secrets for very long...And, Monkey0 if the ads are annoying you I'd recommend AdBlock Plus for Firefox, works like a charm - I haven't seen a single banner ad or pop-up in the longest time.

From what I've read from Leaky, I`m pretty pissed about the movie. I`m really sad that other people have seen this movie while millions of the other die-hard fans are in shock & depression. If they show a test screening, show the dang movie then! I just want to see it, geez!

How come Eric got to see a special screening? I live in Phoenix, AZ. It sure would have been nice if there was screening here in Phoenix. I feel so envious! Movie! Movie! Movie! It's Sept. Don't they usually show screenings just before the movie is released? This is a crazy hope, that they changed their minds and decided to release it in Nov. after all.

Wow, this has got to be the most ridiculous scheduling for a movie I've ever seen. Test screenings run eleven months before the international release date??? It's more than obvious that Half-Blood Prince is as good as done, and they only changed the release date in order to maximize the profit. Understandable , though, as Warner Brothers is just a corporation like any other. Yeah, it really is folks. Sorry to disillusion some of you, but contrary to popular belief and what the CEO will tell you, they only care about the fans to the extent that they would want as many of you to spend as much of your money as possible. Apparently, the summer is the best time for that in the current movie release environment.

i will kidnap alan rickman and force him to teach me legilimency. if he refuses, i will touch my alivan's wand to the dark mark branded on my forearm and summon ralph fiennes and force him to teach me. if he refuses i will find helena boham carter and get her to use the cruciatus curse on them until they teach me (she owes me a fav). i will use these powers to invade eric's mind and secure the movie in my thoughts. i will then delve deeper into magic than even fiennes himself has delved and extract a high definition .avi file from my own mind. check bittorrent search engines the next few days. i'm not gonna girl out like warner brothers.

Honestly, all I want to hear is: "It was absolutely fantastic." or "It totally sucked." That will appease me (For now). But, like others, I'm still hoping that maybe this RIDICULOUSLY EARLY SCREENING is an indication that the WB might possibly be re-thinking their RIDICULOUSLY UNWISE MOVE. The end.

P.S.--In discussing this with my boyfriend, we thought it would be entirely plausible for the WB to "reconsider" and spring a Christmas "surprise." We know they can't release it on the originally intended date, but I wonder how many people would flock to the theaters to see it during the holidays. Okay, I don't wonder. I know. About 25 gazillion. 25 gazillion people at $7/ticket equals.... A lot of money. If the WB DOESN'T release the movie sooner than they "intend" to...they're going to be losing money as soon as the film is leaked and people start downloading it. So. I have hope, and so should you.
