Earlier this evening in Chicago, MuggleNet staffer Eric attended a surprise test screening for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and will be writing a review to be posted within the next 24 hours. Eric has said his report will be relatively spoiler free and also include information on his post-screening meet up with a few special attendees.
We'll also have coverage on an upcoming episode of MuggleCast within the next week or two!

From what Ive read from Leaky, I`m pretty pissed about the movie. I`m really sad that other people have seen this movie while millions of the other die-hard fans are in shock & depression. If they show a test screening, show the dang movie then! I just want to see it, geez!

Test screenings run eleven months before the international release date???
Its more than obvious that Half-Blood Prince is as good as done, and they only changed the release date in order to maximize the profit.
Understandable , though, as Warner Brothers is just a corporation like any other.
Yeah, it really is folks. Sorry to disillusion some of you, but contrary to popular belief and what the CEO will tell you, they only care about the fans to the extent that they would want as many of you to spend as much of your money as possible. Apparently, the summer is the best time for that in the current movie release environment.

P.S.--In discussing this with my boyfriend, we thought it would be entirely plausible for the WB to "reconsider" and spring a Christmas "surprise." We know they cant release it on the originally intended date, but I wonder how many people would flock to the theaters to see it during the holidays.

Seriously, I hated the fifth movie. Hated it with PASSION. I really thought David Heyman made a big mistake by having David Y. direct the last 3 movies. But I was proven wrong today. And I couldnt believe they both were there in the theatre. I just loved this movie. This is the best movie that has come out of the HP franchise. There is no doubt in that. Hope u all like it as well. It truly captured the essence of the book. I t was funny, emotional, dramatic, and touching. And to all those LUNA fans who were dissapointed in her movie character in the fifth movie. Dont fret! SHE WAS AWESOME IN THIS MOVIE. I loved the lines they wrote for her in this one..... And there is one thing they do with her in this movie that is truly a tribute to her (they kinda borrow something from another HP book).... I really dont want to say it coz it is kinda like a mini, mini, mini spoiler.... But I hope u all like it....

WB better have an army of security protecting the copies of the movie and the scripts. 9 extra months is a long time, and folks can get creative and take things as a challenge. In my opinion, the movie will be online and so will the script before next summer.

They made the kiss between Cho and Harry such a big thing, one would think they would do the same for Ginny! Ginny after all will be his wife. Im not pleased with the review made by Eric. Its better to get second opinions on it. Im not seeing it at all and wait to see it on cable. They dont look at it correctly.
