The Daily Record reports today that a 100-year-old printing press is being replicated by Deathly Hallows film producers for one of the scenes. The owner of the printing press, David Phillips of Perthshire, was pleasantly surprised when he was invited to Leavesden Studios (where they film Potter) to help the producers come up with a design: "I have no idea what part it plays in the movie because the set in Watford was like Fort Knox, security was that tight." Us know-it-all Potter fans can probably guess that this would be used for Xenophilius Lovegood's Quibbler newspaper. Thanks to Snitch Seeker for the tip!

oohhh cool. =D

Posted by: - Posted on: 2008-09-30 22:13:23

..I havent even seen Half Blood Prince Yet and they are already talking about Deathly Hallows! Now that is a good way to build up hype! Not that it really needs any. . . Both movies are going to be wicked good! I cant Wait!

Posted by: - Posted on: 2008-09-30 22:13:47

They really seem to be going all out to keep everything they can in DH, that definitely makes me happy considering how many disappointing changes thereve been in the last few. A weak 4, 5 and maybe 6 will be totally offset if they do DH right.

Posted by: - Posted on: 2008-09-30 22:32:01

Oooooooooooh! That is so cool!

Posted by: - Posted on: 2008-09-30 23:38:38

Im glad they are starting to work on DH. But, I was expecting to vote today, for the next two canditates for ministry of magic. What happened?
